Hello, everyone!

Welcome to another edition of TTT! And today, as we celebrate my 60th edition, I would like to introduce you to the great Marcia Barrett! Most of you probably won't recognize the name, but you will easily associate her with a very famous and well-known movement from the 70s and 80s. I'm talking about the project “Boney M.”

The songs are emblematic of the era and the style!

The choreography, the super energetic lyrics, the smiles, the glamour, the colors, and the whole disco scene that no one could ignore.

And even for younger people, I'm sure they've heard this type of sound at birthday parties or celebrations with older folks... Ahahaha

The Caribbean-German group reached the height of their success in the 70s and 80s, selling over 80 million copies...

I still think that their success lay in their very simple, very positive lyrics, which appealed to people's attraction to each other and the experience of love. Something that was awakening in Europe at that time.

How about you, do you like this style of music? I confess that it's something I really enjoy listening to at wedding parties, or even on New Year's Eve, or birthdays. It always puts everyone in a better mood, don't you agree?

Bem vindos a mais uma edição do TTT! E hoje como aniversariante da minha 60º edição, quero aqui apresentar-vos a grande Marcia Barrett! E se calhar pelo nome, a maioria de vocês não irá lá chegar. Mas facilmente a irão associar a um movimento bem famoso e muito conhecido do anos 70 e 80. Estou a falar do projecto "Boney M.".

As canções são do mais emblemático para a época, e para o estilo!

As coreografias, as letras super enérgicas, os sorrisos, o glamour, as cores e todo o cenário Disco que ninguém passava ao lado.

E mesmo para os mais novos, de certeza que este tipo de sonoridade já a ouviram em festas de aniversário ou celebrações de malta mais velhota... Ahahaha

O grupo caribenho-alemão teve o auge do seu sucesso pelos anos 70 e 80, vendendo mais de 80 milhões de cópias...

Continuo a achar que o sucesso estava nas letras bastante simples, muito positivas, que apelavam à atracção entre as pessoas, e a vivência do amor. Algo que estava a despertar na Europa nessa altura.

E vocês, gostam deste estilo musical? Eu confesso que é algo que gosto muito de ouvir nas festas de casamento, ou mesmo em passagens de ano, ou aniversários. Deixa sempre qualquer um mais bem disposto, não concordam?
