The awakening of the flowers / O despertar das flores [Eng-Pt]
In the early hours of yesterday morning, the time changed to daylight saving time.
I confess that although I don't like very hot days, the simple fact that it has rained a lot in Lisbon over the last few weeks, due to Storm Martinho, has enriched the soil. And now that the days are getting longer, the sun is warming them up, awakening a whole nature that was dormant or latent...
As I woke up at the same time as I usually do on Sundays, 8am, I quickly got dressed and went to enjoy the warm morning of this true spring day.
On the way to the gym, there are a few small fields and gardens that I pass through, and it was clear to see the difference that had been there for a few weeks!
A whole efflorescence and a colorful carpet, sprinkled with plenty of colors, and already with some varieties of country flowers.
I don't want to take up too much of your time with a description of what I captured, but I just want to share with you the joy I felt, materialized in flowers...
An existence that we know is more or less ephemeral, as they will be replaced at a good pace over the coming weeks, but always a free dazzle to those who pass by them.

Durante a madrugada de ontem, a hora mudou para a hora de Verão.
Confesso que apesar de ser uma pessoa que não goste de dias muitos quentes, o simples facto de ter chovido muito nas ultimas semanas em Lisboa, por causa da tempestade Martinho, os solos enriqueceram-se. E agora que os dias se tornam cada vez maiores, o sol aquece-os. levando ao despertar de toda uma natureza que se encontrava adormecida, ou latente...
Como hoje acabei por acordar à mesma hora que costumo acordar aos Domingos, pelas 8am, vesti-me rapidamente, e fui aproveitar a manhã bem morna de este verdadeiro dia de Primavera.
No caminho para o ginásio, há alguns pequenos campos, e jardins pelos quais eu passo, e era notória a diferença que se fazia sentir de há umas semanas para cá!
Toda uma eflorescência e um tapete colorido, salpicado por bastantes cores, e já com algumas variedades de flores campestres.
Não vos quero tomar muito tempo com uma descrição do que eu captei, mas quero apenas partilhar com vocês a alegria que eu senti, materializada em flores...
Uma existência que sabemos que é mais ou menos efêmera, pois serão substituídas a um bom ritmo, ao longo das próximas semanas, mas sempre um deslumbre gratuito a quem passa ao seu lado.

I understand the economical effect that the daylight saving times cause. I must confess that when we have to set the clocks one hour early (in the Winter), even knowing that we can "sleep" one extra hour, the next day, I fell a lack of energy... The sorter days only make me wanna stay longer periods at home.
