PUD & Monthly Recap - May 1st 2025 edition [Eng-Pt]
Hello and welcome to another edition of my monthly recap!
We're beyond the end of the quarter and there are only two months left to look forward to the start of the second semester. I confess I'm feeling quite motivated, as my mental goal of having 10k of Hive in stakes is almost, almost there.
On this day I have around 9452 Hive on stake, which compared to the value at the end of March represents an increase of around 4.87% and compared to the beginning of the year 2025 is as much as 20.93%!
I'm confident that by the next edition I'll be celebrating having passed the 10k Hive barrier! I'm crossing my fingers.
A number of things have happened in the past month. In economic terms, we can't ignore the influence that the policies implemented by the current President of the United States of America have already had on the financial markets. But I think the real clash will happen within the next few weeks.
We've already seen distribution companies such as Amazon warning that they're going to implement new measures with regard to the costs associated with purchasing certain goods (source). But I've already heard news reports that counter that same news. We are in a world of news and counter-news.
While the US is making its decisions, other conflicts continue around the world. Most notably, Russia's continued aggression against Ukraine's sovereignty, but this time with the American President accusing his Kremlin counterpart of stalling and delaying the process of establishing a ceasefire agreement.
Regarding the Middle East conflict, Hamas has pledged to release all Israeli hostages in exchange for a five-year ceasefire. Let's see how this new approach pans out.
A new, long-dormant conflict has erupted in recent days between India and Pakistan. Several dozen people have already died in Kashmir in the attacks of the last few days... And there is the possibility that the conflict will influence access to a share of the region's natural water resources.
A world in turmoil, it's a fact, will always have a lot of influence on all markets, which in turn also influences the digital asset markets.
I hope that Hive manages to prosper and rise in unit value. We've seen some movements, which have brought its value close to 0.25$, but the weekly pumps that we've seen for a while now, due to movements in the Korean market, are no longer so significant or even cause a real movement.
Of course, just today did a Power Up of 100 HIVE!

Estamos para lá do fim do trimestre e já só faltam dois meses para vislumbrar o início do segundo semestre. Confesso que estou a sentir-me bastante motivado, pois a minha meta mental de ter 10k de Hive em stake está quase, quase a chegar.
Neste dia tenho cerca de 9452 Hive em stake, o que comparativamente ao valor do fim do mês de Março representa um aumento em cerca de 4.87% e em relação ao inicio do ano de 2025 chega mesmo aos 20.93%!
Estou confiante que na próxima edição possa estar já a celebrar ter passado a barreira dos 10k Hive! Estou a cruzar os dedos.
Algumas coisas aconteceram no mês que passou. Em termos econômicos não podemos ignorar a influência que as politicas implementadas pelo actual Presidente dos Estados Unidos da America teve influência já nos mercados financeiros. Mas julgo que o verdadeiro embate irá acontecer dentro das próximas semanas.
Já vimos empresas de distribuição, como a Amazon a avisar que vai implementar novas medidas no que diz respeito aos custos associados a aquisição de alguns bens (fonte). Mas já ouvi notícias que contrapõem essa mesma notícia. Estamos num mundo de notícia e contra-notícia.
Enquanto os EUA vão fazendo e tomando as suas decisões, outros conflitos continuam no mundo. Com o destaque para a continuação da agressão da Rússia à soberania da Ucrânia, mas desta vez já com o Presidente Americano a acusar o congênere do Kremlin de estar a empatar e a atrasar o processo de estabelecimento de um acordo de cessar fogo.
Em relação ao conflito no Médio Oriente, o Hamas comprometeu-se a libertar todos os reféns Israelitas em troca de um cessar de fogo de 5 anos. Vamos ver em que é que dá esta nova abordagem.
Um novo conflito há muito dormente sobreveio nestes últimos dias entre a India e o Paquistão. Já houve várias dezenas de mortos em Caxemira, nos ataques dos últimos dias... E há a possibilidade de o conflito influenciar o acesso a uma quota dos recursos hídricos naturais da região.
Um mundo sobressaltado, é um facto, irá ter sempre muita influência em todos os mercados, o que por sua vez também influencia os mercados de bens digitais.
Espero que o Hive consiga prosperar e subir do seu valor unitário. Temos visto algumas movimentações, que aproximaram o seu valor perto dos 0.25$, mas os pump semanais que víamos acontecer de há uns tempos para cá, em custa de movimentações no mercado Coreano, já não são tão expressivas ou sequer causam uma verdadeira movimentação.

I don't see a very bright near future for the next Portuguese government... Anyone that comes out with a shallow victory is almost condemned to a short government period if some consensus cannot be reached. Hoping for the best!

YES! I don't wish for a big turn around in the government, with far right reinforcement dominance (CHEGA party). But I would like to have a more wide base stance in number of deputies of the winning party in the parliament... two more weeks, and we know what will get, right? 😅
