PUD & Monthly Recap - March 1st 2026 edition [Eng-Pt]
Good morning, good morning!
First day of the third month of the year! Just yesterday it was December... and now two months of this year have already passed. Unexpectedly, I haven't yet started investing in ETFs as I would have liked to by now.
But, as a friend of mine once told me, you just have to set up an automatic purchase and participation order and know how much you want to use each month, and that's it. And that's true, but I wanted to look more closely at the composition of each of these funds. Perhaps not being so exposed to the now increased risk of the US market... But perhaps being exposed could even be an advantage in the medium term. These are all questions I haven't researched yet... In other words, and to sum it up in one word: DYOR!
Apart from that detail, which still makes me feel a little embarrassed... Yes, it's kind of shameful that NINETY days have gone by and I haven't moved, but I can say that everything else is going better.
In the month that ended yesterday, I didn't go to the gym as often as I would have liked. A mixture of procrastination and some health issues prevented me from doing so. But that shouldn't be overemphasized. There is always work to be done. And we mustn't give up.
On the academic side, this year I decided to apply for an Integrated Master's Degree. I graduated in 2004, but at that time Master's degrees were not so easily accessible, nor did they require so little effort. You can read a little more about this process, which came into effect exactly one year after I completed my studies. Initially, I thought it would not make a difference, because in practice, the quality of teaching between the two degrees was not important or relevant, but after all these years, when I say that I have a Bachelor's degree (Pre-Bologna Process), it does not give me the same access to certain salary levels (link).
Well, that said, yesterday I took the exam for the last subject I needed to complete the curriculum. It's a subject that could be important for the future, because even though it's only worth one credit, I'm already putting much of what I learned in it into practice. Now all that's left is to put together a resume, listing all the courses and training I've done over the past 23 years... And then I'm done! Wish me luck!
As for Hive, I'll talk a little about what happened this past month. Once again, I managed to publish daily. My goal is being maintained, and I'm on the right track. All the effort of writing or publishing is no longer felt, and nowadays it ends up being a real pleasure! I just have to improve my interaction with other users and try to comment more on the quality posts that I vote for and appreciate.
As for the numbers for this period, here they are:
My reputation rose by 0.18 points, compared to 0.16 in January! This month I also gained five new followers, just like in January, which is excellent. I think this is what gives us greater exposure to other users and allows us to expand our network of contacts. As for the accumulated Hive, there was an increase of 4.97%, and last month it stood at 6.05%. I think it's normal for this ratio to be less significant over time, but I'm thinking about whether to make a larger increase than the usual 100 Hive in the next PUD.

Bom dia, bom dia!
Primeiro dia do terceiro mês do ano! Ainda "ontem" estavamos em Dezembro... e já dois meses decorreram deste ano. Como eu não esperava, e por esta altura, ainda não comecei a fazer o meu investimento financeiro em ETF como eu gostaria.
Mas, como um amigo meu me disse uma vez, só tens que estabelecer uma ordem automática de aquisição e participação e saberes qual o valor que tens em mente para usar mensalmente, e está feito. E de facto assim é, mas eu queria debruçar-me mais sobre a composição de cada uma desses fundos. Se calhar não estar tão exposto ao risco, agora acrescido, do mercado americano... Mas se calhar, ao estar exposto até pode advir alguma vantagem a médio prazo. Tudo questões sobre as quais ainda não fiz o meu estudo... ou seja, e resumindo em uma palavra: DYOR!
Fora esse pormenor, que ainda me deixa um pouco embaraçado... Sim, é meio vergonhoso, que já passaram NOVENTA dias e eu não me mexi, o resto até posso dizer que está a correr melhor.
No mês que ontem terminou, acabei por não ir tantas vezes como gostaria ao ginásio. Um misto de procrastinação, com algumas condicionantes a ver com a minha saúde, assim o não permitiram. Mas isso não deve ser demasiado valorizado. Há sempre caminho para ser feito. E não devemos baixar os braços.
Em relação à parte acadêmica, este ano, decidi candidatar-me para o Mestrado Integrado. Sou formado desde 2004, mas naquela altura os Mestrados não eram de tão fácil acesso, nem com tão pouco esforço. Podem ler um pouco mais sobre esse processo, que entrou em vigor exactamente no ano seguinte ao ano da conclusão dos meus estudos. Inicialmente pensava que seria algo que não iria ser diferenciador, pois na prática, a qualidade de ensino entre os dois graus não era importante, ou relevante, mas passados estes anos todos, quando eu digo que sou Licenciado (Pré Processo de Bolonha) não me trás se calhar o mesmo acesso a determinados escalões salariais (ligação).
Bem, dito isto, ontem fiz o exame da ultima disciplina que me faltava para completar a parte curricular. É uma disciplina que pode ser importante para o futuro, pois apesar de ter apenas um crédito, muito do que eu aprendi nela, já o estou a colocar em prática. Agora só me resta elaborar um documento de apresentação de currículo, com a listagem dos cursos e formações que eu tive ao longo dos 23 anos... E está feito! Desejem-me boa sorte!
Em relação ao Hive, vou então falar um pouco do que aconteceu neste passado mês. Mais uma vez, consegui fazer uma publicação diária. O meu objetivo está a ser mantido, e estou no bom caminho. Todo o esforço em escrever, ou publicar, deixou de ser sentido, e hoje em dia acaba por ser um verdadeiro prazer! Só tenho que melhorar a minha interação com os demais utilizadores, e tentar comentar mais nas publicações de qualidade em que eu voto e que aprecio.
Em relação ao números desde período, cá vão eles:
A reputação subiu 0.18 pontos, ao passo que em janeiro tinha sido de 0.16! Neste mês consegui também mais cinco novos seguidores, tal como em janeiro, o que é excelente. Eu acho que é do que nos garante uma maior exposição aos demais utilizadores, e que permite que consigamos aumentar a rede de conhecimentos. Já no que diz respeito ao Hive que está acumulado, foi um aumento de 4,97% e no mês passado fixou-se nos 6,05%. Eu acho que é normal ao longo do tempo esta relação ser menos expressiva, mas estou a pensar se no próximo PUD eu faça um aumento maior do que os habituais 100 Hive.
