#Monomad Challenge - Tempo para sonhar acordado / A time for daydreaming [Pt-Eng]

Bom dia, amigos do #Monomad

Good morning, #Monomad friends

In a very different week, and less than a week before the early elections for the Portuguese Parliament, several unions working for the public train company called a ten-day strike.

I don't like going to Lisbon by car, as I always end up not making the most of the journey, spending a lot more money on fuel and parking. I had to choose an alternative one morning last week in order to get to the city center for my dentist's appointment. I chose to drive to the nearest Metro station, and from there I took the Metro to get to my destination. As I don't like to be late, I went a little early, which gave me time to observe the people and places I passed.

I had over an hour until my appointment. And I took with me, as usual, an excellent morning companion - a book. I noticed a city park very close to the office, and I took the opportunity to relax and let myself be lulled by Haruki Murakami's fantastic stories and ideas...

Some nice images there, they look great in monochrome. It's been so many years since I've been Lisbon, it's a pretty place!

Good morning, TBh!
Thank you so much for reply my post.
I'm very grateful for your kind words. I hope you'll consider revisiting Portugal, and I advise you not to stop at Lisbon. What other cities or towns did you visit at the time?

Thank you so much, Heroldius!
A big day is waiting for me...
This weekend I'm organizing an important event, so I can't get much rest. But it's an event related to a hobby I have, and I'm really enjoying doing it. Maybe in a future post I'll see if I can publish something about it. Have a good Sunday, my friend!
