#Monomad Challenge - Longing for vacation.../ Saudades de férias... [En-Pt]

With my next vacation days still a long way off, I'm trying to make the most of every moment when I'm not working, to gather my energy so that I can achieve my goals at work the following week.
Today, being Saturday, I ended up resting more than usual, waking up only at 9.30am... More than ten hours after falling asleep. You can get a good idea from this number of hours how tired and in need of well-deserved rest I was.
Today, I ended up revisiting my old photo album, largely because I was celebrating a very important date for a couple of friends. I found myself looking at old photos from the time of the event and some not so old ones, like these that I took for my birthday in 2022.
I was spending a week on vacation at a friend's house on the island of Tenerife. If you haven't yet visited this little corner of paradise, you'll be welcomed by very friendly people and a paradisiacal landscape with lots to discover! If you love hiking in nature, walking along paths and letting yourself be carried away by the silence of human life, this is the place for you.
Here are some photos I took at the end of November. In Portugal, it was already cold and gray at the time, which contrasted greatly with the excellent mild afternoons on the Canary Islands' largest and most populous island.
Estando ainda a uma considerável distância dos meus próximos dias de férias, tento aproveitar todos os momentos em que não estando a trabalhar, reuno as energias para na semana seguinte conseguir atingir os objectivos no trabalho.
Hoje, sendo sábado, acabei por ficar a descansar mais do que habitualmente, acordando apenas pelas 9h30am... Mais de dez horas depois de adormecer. Conseguem ter uma boa ideia por este número de horas o quão cansado e necessitado estava do merecido repouso.
Hoje, acabei por revisitar o álbum de fotos antigas, muito por causa da comemoração de uma data muito importante para um casal amigo. E dei comigo a ver fotografias antigas, da altura do acontecimento, e outas não tão antigas, como estas que eu tirei por altura do meu aniversário em 2022.
Estava a passar uma semana de férias na casa de uma amiga, na Ilha de Tenerife. Quem ainda não conhece este cantinho de paraíso, podem acreditar que serão acolhidos por uma população muito simpática, e por uma paisagem paradisíaca e com muito para descobrir! Quem adora fazer caminhadas pela natureza, andar por caminhos e deixar-se levar pelo silêncio da vida humana, é o vosso destino.
Partilho aqui umas fotos que tirei, já no fim do mês de Novembro. Em Portugal, estava nessa altura já algum frio, e uns dias cinzentos, o que contrastava e em muito com as excelentes tardes amenas da maior Ilha mais populosa das Canárias.
