Good evening, #Monomad friends

Here is my entry for the #monomad contest by @brumest and @monochromes.

Os momentos que antecedem um espetáculo são sempre de grande expectativa. O outro dia tiver oportunidade de assistir a uma actuação da Orquestra Filarmônica e do Coro da Gulbenkian.

O espetáculo foi integrado nas festas da cidade, e decorreram no fantástico "Vale do Silêncio". Um vale na região oriental da cidade, bem perto de onde é agora uma das principais zonas urbanas da região de Lisboa.

O parque tem um extenso relavado que serve perfeitamente para algo deste gênero.

Acabei por chegar bastante mais cedo do que a própria actuação, o que me deu oportunidade de observar os rituais de quem ia chegando e se ia sentando, aproveitando os calorosos raios de sol de um fantástico fim de tarde!

Aproveitei a oportunidade para me descalçar e estar com os pés directamente a tocar a relva. É uma sensação muito tranquilizante e relaxante.

Espero que gostem deste conjunto de fotografias que eu tirei mesmo antes da actuação. Irei preparar outro conjunto, mas já com a Orquestra em pleno ato, e vocês vão reparar nas enormes diferenças.

Principalmente nas pessoas que estavam acompanhadas.

The moments leading up to a show are always filled with great anticipation. The other day, I had the opportunity to attend a performance by the Gulbenkian Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir.

The show was part of the city's festivities and took place in the fantastic “Vale do Silêncio” (Valley of Silence). A valley in the eastern part of the city, very close to what is now one of the main urban areas in the Lisbon region.

The park has an extensive lawn that is perfect for something like this.

I ended up arriving quite a bit earlier than the performance itself, which gave me the opportunity to observe the rituals of those who were arriving and sitting down, enjoying the warm rays of sunshine on a fantastic late afternoon!

I took the opportunity to take off my shoes and feel the grass directly under my feet. It is a very calming and relaxing sensation.

I hope you enjoy this set of photos I took just before the performance. I will prepare another set, but with the Orchestra in full swing, and you will notice the huge differences.

Especially in the people who were accompanied.
