#Monomad Challenge - Amsterdam memories II [En-Pt]
Good afternoon, #Monomad friends
The magic of a monochrome photograph, combined with human presence in an urban environment, hardly leaves a mark either on those who capture it or those who observe it... And the most interesting thing is that there are more and more details that stand out... the contrasts, the lines, the boundaries, the movement, and the bodily expressions, or lack of them.
A world waiting to be contemplated by those who seem to be merely passive and observing. But is it really like that? Doesn't the observer play a fundamental role? If not, what purpose would a moment captured in the form of a two-dimensional image have, if not to keep a moment frozen, as if by magic? Have you ever thought about that?
You can go back to the moment, to a day, to a second, just by willing yourself to look at an image. For me, it will always remain one of my favorite hobbies. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think about the various photographs I've taken or would like to take. One thing I'm sure of, no matter how many years I live, I'll never cease to be impressed by the ability of a simple image to evoke in those who see it a set of memories, sensations and thoughts...
Traveling is great, and believe me, there's no faster or stronger journey than a photograph we've taken that is somehow associated with a thought, state of mind, emotion or desire...

Today I'm sharing a small set of photos I took when I went to Amsterdam for the HiveFest event. Let's see if the stars align for this year's event!

A magia de uma fotografia monocromática, aliada a presença humana, num ambiente urbano, dificilmente não deixa uma marca quer a quem a capta, quer depois quem a observa... E o mais interessante é que cada vez há mais pormenores que sobressaem... os contrastes, as linhas, os limites, o movimento, e as expressões corporais, ou a ausência das mesmas.
Um mundo à espera de ser contemplado por quem parece que está numa atitude meramente passiva e de observação. Mas será que é assim mesmo? Não terá o observador um papel fundamental. Senão pensemos, que propósito teria um momento captado em forma de imagem bidimensional, senão a de manter um momento congelado, como que como se de magia se tratasse... Já pensaram nisso?
Poderem regressar ao momento, a um dia, a um segundo, apenas tento a vontade de olhar uma imagem. Para mim, continuará sempre a ser um dos meus hobbies favoritos. Não há dia em que eu não pense em várias fotografias que fiz, ou que gostaria de vir a fazer. De uma coisa tenho a certeza, por mais anos que viva, nunca me irá deixar de impressionar a capacidade que uma simples imagem tem de evocar em quem a vislumbra um conjunto de memórias, sensações, e pensamentos...
Viajar é muito bom, e acreditem que não há viagem mais rápida e mais forte que uma fotografia que nós tenhamos tirado, que esteja de alguma forma associada a um pensamento, estado de espírito, emoção, ou desejo...
