MonoHavana - A brief trip down memory lane over ten years old
Good morning, #Monomad friends
Welcome to my #Monomad Challenge
I ended up diving into the photo archive... "I traveled all the way back to 2010... the month: March! And for a few moments, I let myself be immersed in the memories of good times spent on a group trip with close friends to the island of Cuba. The warm weather was soothing to our skin and flesh, eager for the comfort of warmth as a few restful days lay ahead of us.
From the set of photographs I took at that time, fourteen years ago now, I've selected these. In central Havana, the art of photography is taken seriously, especially when the occasion is as special as a wedding...
A photographer who still used the old techniques of printing on silver emulsion paper delighted those who approached him.
I hope you enjoyed this small set of photographs. I confess that it has just whetted my vacation appetite. Have you? Do you already have a vacation planned?
I hope you enjoyed my post here in the B&W community

Yes, your photos make me want to get on a plane somewhere exotic and warm! (Fortunately we have a nice long weekend trip coming up to San Diego, which is at least a little warmer than my home town of Minneapolis right now.)
The photos are beautiful. I’m a huge fan of black and white. You found a perfect subject for street photography on your trip to Havana!
Good evening, @jayna!
Thank you so much for passing by, and for taking some of your free time to read and comment on my post. I'm very humbled by that, trust me.
I'm also a great fan of B&W photos... Maybe it's because of the very early contact I had with the old family albums that my grandmother kept on top of a chest in her living room... I've always remembered the stories and the names she used to pronounce... and I used to listen very carefully. I so wish I had more time to spend on one of my biggest hobbies and passion - photography.
Cheers 🍀
Thank you so much for the curation @ackhoo ! Thank for the encouragement !
