Happiness

Happiness is so incredible.
It's so incredible that it doesn't matter if it's yours or not.
Have you ever thought about this?
It's such a lovely thing.
A society thrives when older men plant trees that will provide shade they will never sit under, and bear fruit they will never eat...
When altruism becomes the way that practically everyone interacts with others and with themselves, something wonderful happens. In others and in us. And there is no need to be religious, believers, or even people who do not consider our own well-being important. None of that. We do not need to deny ourselves to help or do something for others.
It is enough that when we have several options before us, and we can shape our decisions and actions, if we do so with a view to increasing the common good, and not just our own good, we are building an evolved society.
But will “that day” ever come? Does the desire for a more evolved society override our fears and our own desire to have the best possible life?
It is something that I sincerely consider almost utopian. Will we ever be able to look further ahead? And will the people who do so cease to be just a tiny minority, who may even be considered people without a sense of survival?
Why spend time doing things for others? If we were smarter, we would be able to see and discern that we are not actually spending our time for the benefit of others, but also for our own benefit. Let's see: when we do something that will change the reality of another, that same action will have a much greater impact than we might think.
It goes beyond what we can see and witness... It spreads through time and space.
I believe that just as good deeds have the ability to spread and disseminate, bad deeds also metastasize. They sow mistrust in others, cast doubt, and spread fear and ignorance.
The only certainty I have is that happiness is the only way to build a true society, in which we can be more than just a brief existence. More than just a physical body.
An idea, an importance is added to each one, and to all. We are all called to be part of it. Not passively, but actively. And we can do it in our daily lives. Obviously without wasting time on those who do not want to be a source of inspiration for others.
Good people do things for other people.
That's all, end of story.

As you said, a beautiful utopia, but we can hope that one day Humanity will realize that we must help each other without ulterior motives.
With that wise post, have a wonderful weekend!
I am increasingly focused on trying to do a little better. Trying to be a better version of myself. Trying to leave things better than I found them. And it's not easy. Sometimes, even deep down, fears still insist on creeping in... The fear that if I don't do what's best for me, I'll be left with nothing... But these fears are completely unfounded. There is enough in this world for everyone. You just have to know how to distribute it and keep only what is necessary. Thanks for the comment, friend. Sorry for only responding today, but I've been away for a while. I'll try to update everything and respond at least to the comments you made on my posts.
Have a great week!
We're all trying to improve, it's not easy every day...
Don't worry, I know you're replying or reading 😀
Have a great week too
Yes. That is indeed the main point. Trying to make better everyday. And if in one of those days, things just can't go out perfectly, the next day is a new opportunity to makes things better/correct.
That is about everything. You sum it up so nicely!
