Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!

Today I bring you another work by a Portuguese artist, which is located in Quinta do Mocho, in Sacavém.

The artist, António Correia, was born in the Azores in 1975 and goes by the pseudonym Pantónio.

Since he was a teenager, as is usual with these artists, he showed a deep interest in painting and drawing. He studied drawing and photography at the Escola Profissional de Ofícios Artísticos de Vila Nova de Cerveira.

In 2011, he dedicated himself exclusively to promoting his artistic work, particularly its urban art component.

As has become his habit, his work can be admired all over the world, not just in Portugal.

He exhibited individually in 2011 and 2014 in Lisbon, and in Paris in 2017.

Her current project is based on a huge presence of gesture and movement, described particularly by organic forms.

His favorite tones vary between black, shades of dark green and intense blues, which end up mimicking those of marine animals or those that live near waterways.

In this work, the artist shows how, from an apparently biplanar structure, a sheet of paper, we can, with movement and geometry, create something that takes us further.

Here's my thought for the day: Always push our limitations further, and first of all demonstrate to ourselves that we are capable of overcoming the limitations that present themselves to us as immutable.

Hoje trago-vos mais um trabalho elaborado por um artista português, e que está na Quinta do Mocho, em Sacavém.

O artista de seu nome António Correia, nascido nos Açores em 1975, dá-se a conhecer pelo seu pseudónimo de Pantónio.

Desde adolescente, como é habitual nestes artistas, mostrou um interesse profundo pela pintura e pelo desenho. Estudou desenho e fotografia na Escola Profissional de Ofícios Artísticos de Vila Nova de Cerveira.

Em 2011 dedicou-se em exclusivo a promover o seu trabalho artístico e mais particularmente na sua componente de arte urbana.

Como tem vindo a ser seu apanágio, os seus trabalhos podem ser admirados um pouco por todo o mundo, não se fixando apenas pelo território nacional.

Expôs individualmente em 2011 e 2014 em Lisboa, e em Paris em 2017.

O seu projecto actual tem por base uma enorme presença da gestualidade, e do movimento, descrito muito particularmente por formas orgânicas.

O seus tons favoritos variam entre o negro, as tonalidades de verde escuro e os intensos azuis, que acabam por mimetizar as mesmas que os animais marinhos, ou que têm um habitat perto dos cursos de água apresentam.

Neste trabalho, o artista, mostra como a partir de uma estrutura aparentemente biplanar, uma folha de papel, conseguimos com movimento e com geometria, criar algo que nos leva mais além.
