The Rock Festival Nova Iguaçu was intense and unforgettable, even with the scorching heat that never let up! I started the day of shows watching another performance by Fresno, one of my favorite bands. It’s always amazing to see them live, and even though I’ve seen them before, it never loses its excitement.

After that, I got to enjoy CPM 22, a hardcore band I love and hadn’t seen live in a long time. It was awesome to feel the crowd singing along and to relive songs that have meant so much. I also watched Detonautas and Paralamas do Sucesso, who always bring the classics that get everyone moving.

There was also Darvin, a band I used to listen to a lot back in my teenage years, around 2003/2004. It was a real trip down memory lane hearing those songs live again and remembering old times. And, of course, Raimundos! This was my boyfriend’s favorite band, and it was amazing seeing him enjoying every minute of the show. Even though I didn’t know all the songs, I still got to soak up the energy and excitement of the crowd — it was so fun to share that moment with him.

The international band The Calling also took the stage and closed the festival on a high note. The opening act was Hevo84, a band I love, but unfortunately I couldn’t see them because the line was massive, and they started playing right when the gates opened — really poor event organization, which was the only truly frustrating part of the day.

All in all, despite the heat and a few hiccups, the festival was incredible.

O Rock Festival Nova Iguaçu foi intenso e inesquecível, mesmo com o calorão absurdo que não deu trégua em nenhum momento! Comecei o dia de shows vendo mais uma apresentação da Fresno, que é uma das minhas bandas favoritas. Sempre é incrível ver eles ao vivo, e mesmo já tendo assistido outras vezes, não perde a emoção.

Depois, consegui curtir o CPM 22, uma banda de hardcore que eu adoro e que fazia muito tempo que eu não via ao vivo. Foi ótimo sentir a energia da galera cantando junto e relembrar músicas que marcaram tanto. Também assisti ao show do Detonautas e ao dos Paralamas do Sucesso, que sempre animam com clássicos que não deixam ninguém parado.

Teve ainda Darvin, uma banda que eu escutava muito na adolescência, lá por 2003/2004. Foi uma viagem no tempo ouvir aquelas músicas novamente ao vivo e lembrar de momentos antigos. E, claro, o Raimundos! Essa era a banda favorita do meu namorado, e foi incrível vê-lo curtindo cada minuto do show. Mesmo eu não conhecendo todas as músicas, consegui aproveitar bastante a energia e a animação da galera — foi muito legal fazer parte desse momento com ele.

A banda internacional The Calling também subiu ao palco e fechou o festival com chave de ouro. A abertura ficou por conta da Hevo84, que é uma banda que adoro, mas infelizmente não consegui assistir porque a fila estava enorme e eles começaram a tocar exatamente quando os portões foram abertos — uma péssima organização do evento, que foi a única parte realmente frustrante do dia.

No fim das contas, apesar do calor e de alguns imprevistos, o festival foi incrível.
