Getting ready for my next performance

Yesterday I had another singing class and, honestly, it was one of those that leave you feeling lighter. We did exercises, laughed a lot messing up the lyrics in the weirdest ways, and even had some improvisation. The room was full of good energy, everyone trying in their own way, and in the end, it all turned into music. It’s crazy how singing in a group can completely change the mood of the day.

But what’s really giving me butterflies is that next Thursday there’s a sarau at Sesc, and I’ll be back on stage. I’m going to sing two songs with my classmates and also with the choir. I’ve been rehearsing for a while, but it’s that good kind of nervous, you know? The one that comes from excitement.

Until then, it’s going to be busy. We’ll have rehearsals almost every day next week, repeating over and over until everything is polished. Tiring? Yes. But it’s also what makes the final result so much more beautiful. You can see each detail falling into place and everyone growing together.

I’m beyond excited. It’s really special to share this with this group that’s become part of my routine. At first, you think it’s just a singing class, but it turns into friendship, support, therapy, and fun all at once.

It’s going to be intense, but I know every minute will be worth it. I can’t wait to get on that stage, feel my heart racing, and truly sing.

Ontem rolou mais uma aula de canto e, sério, foi daquelas que a gente sai leve. Teve exercício, teve risada com a gente errando a letra das músicas das formas mais bizarras possíveis, teve até improviso. A sala tava cheia de energia boa, cada um tentando do seu jeito, e no fim tudo virou música. É muito doido como cantar em grupo muda o astral do dia.

Mas o que tá me deixando com friozinho na barriga mesmo é que na quinta que vem tem sarau no Sesc e eu vou estar lá no palco de novo. Vou cantar duas músicas com o pessoal da turma e também com o coral. Já tô ensaiando há algum tempo, mas é aquele nervoso bom, sabe? De expectativa.

Até lá vai ser correria. Teremos ensaios quase todos os dias na próxima semana, repetir, repetir e repetir até sair redondo. Cansa? Cansa. Mas também é o que deixa tudo mais bonito no final. Dá pra ver cada detalhe ficando no lugar e todo mundo crescendo junto.

Eu tô animada demais. É muito especial dividir isso com essa galera que já virou parte da minha rotina. A gente começa achando que é só uma aula de canto, mas vira amizade, apoio, terapia e diversão ao mesmo tempo.

Vai ser puxado, mas eu sei que vai valer a pena cada minuto. Não vejo a hora de subir naquele palco, sentir o coração acelerar e cantar de verdade.
