While the city dresses up in celebration, confetti, and revelry, this urban scene tells a different story. On a Carnival Sunday, while many enjoy the festivities, these workers are in action, digging through the asphalt, fixing what needs to be fixed.

Life doesn't stop for everyone.

The contrast between the bustle of the construction and the calm of the few passersby around reinforces the essence of capturing the unexpected—the everyday moments that go unnoticed, the reality unfolding while the rest of Brazil dances.

This is my entry for the @PhotoFeed Contest, with the theme Street Photography, in round 107.

Enquanto a cidade se veste de festa, confete e folia, essa cena urbana conta outra história. Em pleno domingo de Carnaval, enquanto muitos curtem o a folia, esses trabalhadores estão na ativa, escavando o asfalto, consertando o que precisa ser consertado.

A vida não para para todos.

O contraste entre a movimentação da obra e a calmaria dos poucos transeuntes ao redor reforça a essência de captar o inesperado, o cotidiano que passa despercebido, a realidade que acontece enquanto o resto do Brasil dança.

Essa é a minha participação no @PhotoFeed Contest, com o tema Fotografia de Rua, no round 107.
