His arms, like the firm branches of a stubborn tree,
mend the wounds of a weary roof,
which has sloughed off its skin as if mourning
the invisible passage of time.

White fragments like broken bones rest
at the foot of a staircase that creaks with every sigh.
There, where the art of restoration meets risk,
rises the figure of a worker,
a poet of plaster, a tightrope walker of dust.

En el primer acto de este drama silencioso,
