Hello ! Awesome Community, fellow Hivers, and friends!😁😀🐝
In our previous post, we delved deeper into the Necron Warriors & The Tomb Stalker. (https://ecency.com/hive-189497/@xenowolfza/necron-warriors-and-the-tomb)
As we continuing our exploration of Necron Lore;
Today we look at Two Fast Attack Units: The Canoptek Wraith & Destroyers.
Let's get into!👽💥
Fast Attack Units: Canoptek Wraiths & Destroyers
The Necron legions boast terrifyingly swift and deadly Fast Attack units, with Canoptek Wraiths and Destroyers standing out as two of the most feared assets in their arsenal. Both units bring mobility, lethality, and technological supremacy to the battlefield, ensuring the efficient eradication of all who oppose the Necrons.
Canoptek Wraiths: Spectral Guardians of the Tomb
Canoptek Wraiths are automated constructs designed to patrol the corridors of dormant Tomb Worlds. These eerie, serpentine constructs glide across the battlefield using advanced anti-gravitic technology, their skeletal frames shifting between dimensions through their Phase Shifter technology. This ability allows them to bypass enemy defenses, phasing through obstacles and striking with lethal precision.👾

Their primary role in battle is disruption and assassination. Wraiths can weave through enemy lines, targeting commanders and high-value units. Their Necrodermis-coated talons and whip-like appendages are capable of phasing inside their targets before solidifying, tearing apart internal organs without leaving an external mark. This makes them particularly effective at eliminating enemies who rely on armor or fortifications for protection.

Most lore mention that Wraiths are silent and relentless, existing only to serve the will of their Tomb World's master. Some Imperial scholars even suggest that in a time before the War in Heaven, the Wraiths may have once been Necrontyr criminals, reborn into metallic servitude.😬
Destroyers: The Heralds of Annihilation
Destroyers represent a darker, more terrifying aspect of Necron warfare. Unlike Wraiths, they were once Necron Immortals who succumbed to a nihilistic madness, forsaking all loyalty to dynastic order. Their only purpose is the eradication of all life, and they stop at nothing to achieve this goal.

Physically, Destroyers are fused with anti-gravity skimmers, allowing them to outmaneuver foes while raining death upon them. They wield powerful Gauss Cannons, capable of disintegrating infantry and light vehicles alike. Some Destroyers even further alter their forms, integrating heavier weaponry to become Heavy Destroyers, specialized in anti-armor roles.🔥
Perhaps most terrifying are the Destroyer Lords—former Necron nobility who have embraced the Destroyer philosophy. These beings retain their tactical brilliance and resilience but augment themselves further, often favoring melee combat and wielding Warscythes to cut down their foes in a relentless slaughter.

Both Canoptek Wraiths and Destroyers exemplify the terror of Necron warfare. Whether phasing through enemy lines or obliterating all life in their path, they ensure that the Necrons’ cold, calculated destruction remains an unstoppable force in the galaxy.🤖🌌
