In the center of the city of Ponferrada stands the Castle of the Templars, a medieval fortress that began to be built in the twelfth century and throughout history has undergone a lot of extensions and modifications of its original structure, although it seems that in the fifteenth century it was already shown in a very similar way as we know it now.
