The Wisdom of Hindsight. #249

Many times we wish we could go back in time and redo or undo somethings but we can only go forward with lessons and better resolutions.
Life is always on the go, no season stays forever, be it moments of Gain or loss, Joy or Pain, activeness or idleness and life or death. We can only pick up pieces of what is left and make it count.
In retrospect, here are some knowledge i am advancing with:

Prioritization
Life comes with a lot of variety, suggestions and alternatives, knowing which one to take or not is really necessary. This comes with a level of self awareness and clarity - knowing what you want out of life helps you easily identify what's important and what's a distraction. Distractions are selective, depending on it's alignment with vision. So what is good for your friend, might not be good for you.

Putting what matters first and making out time for the rest makes one more productive in their life's goals per time.
I learnt that

just because it is urgent doesn't always mean it is important.
Clearly defining what's important in my life at the moment brings clarity and increases my potency.

Go with the Flow
This has a lot to do with Procrastination. Doing things when there ought to be done is really an important skill for life. The damages procrastination and not wanting to step out of your comfort zone can do is unimaginable. It would leave a bulk of things undone with an unrealistic time-frame, cost you opportunities because you are met with opportunities unprepared and the general output of one's life is limited.
An easy way to achieve this is creating a system of accountability. Friends, colleagues or environment that boosts your productiveness. Also alarms, planners apps and studying some useful materials.
The best time to do things is when there ought to be done.

You'll get the best output when you give the best input. Give yourself wholly to your vision and you'll see more results eventually. Diligence pays off.

Here are two major things i am going forward with.
Thanks for the read, hope it was helpful.

Pictures are mine.

Procrastination is the thief of time and yet, we invite it in like an old friend. I'll do it Later ,later always feels safe, until later becomes never.

The secret to overcoming procrastination is to always start, whether small just make aire it's started. A single step breaks the spell, and action, no matter how tiny, defeats the endless cycle of delay.

I enjoyed your post, it's does have a lot of insights.

Defining your life and what's important in it is definitely the first step to self actualization, it helps with a whole lot of things like when to do something without procrastination, helps straighten out your goals and purposes, and lots more.
Beautiful work of art you did here lady!

I tend to procrastinate too, it's a bad habit that I can easily make rash decisions. If it helps, make it into smaller decisions or tasks, small progress is better than no progress.
