My Thoughts after watching Our Dating Story: The Experienced you and the Inexperienced me
Maybe you are wondering why I am not active in posting any blogs here again. Well, it is because I found an anime that I like to watch. I saw a very interesting anime because of its title. The title of this anime gives me a curious feeling, especially the "inexperienced" word in the title. I told you many times that I am not reading any plot or genre of anything that I like to watch because I don't like to spoil myself. So, after seeing the anime on the list, I watched it right away.
To be honest, I am the kind of audience that is picky about anime. I mean, I really like watching anime that has good-looking characters, a character that has a cool personality, and an anime that doesn't have a boring story. Well, it's okay for me if the drawing and animation are not that good, as long as the story is very interesting to me. It will be passed to my favorites.
And I'm glad because the characters of this anime were well drawn by the animator. I really like that this anime is not repeating the clothes (except when they are at school) that they wear. Because there are some animes where they just wear the same outfit because maybe the animator was too lazy to change it or because of the budget.
What I like about this anime is this one:
They always have a different version of this in each episode, and it depends on what the story in each episode is all about. I like this because every time this clip pops out on every episode, the slide or translation gives me a vibe or feels like this anime is like a drama.
What I also like while watching this anime is
There's a lot of funny scenes, which makes me not get bored while watching. I like that, despite their handsome and beautiful faces, they still make the characters have funny faces and reactions, especially the male lead.
Now, let's jump to some scenes that I relate to, or, should I say, scenes that give me some thoughts while watching it.
At the beginning of this anime, I was slapped by this scene. I've never tried directly confessing my feelings to someone I like, including my crush, for 10 years (he just knew it through gossip by our friends back then, and I never told him in a love letter or in front of him). I was amazed at the people who are good at confessing their feelings directly to someone they like. Meanwhile, I was scared of the 'what if' and rejection when I confessed my feelings in person.
After I watched this scene, I couldn't help but pause it and scream a little. I enhaled and exhaled because I felt what the male protagonist felt after the girl said that to him. Now, I know the answer to the 'enexperience' part of the title. Okay, I will just act fool, fool, fool 🎶
As a girl, I was mad at this girl because she had this kind of thinking! I just let myself let out my frausterate to this girl while watching. I was like, So what if you don't like to give it? So what if the guys you date find someone if you don't give it to them? All my ex-boyfriends are like that, and I just let them find someone who can fulfill the things that they like because I was still young. Now, did I regret not giving it to them? No. It's better to find someone who can respect you and wait than to stay with someone who just gets what they want and leaves. Your standard for boys is so...
You know what? I'm so very happy because I found an anime that passed my expectations because I really like the male protagonist in this anime. He is a green-flag guy. I mean, despite the fact that he likes to, you know, he still chooses the right thing, which is to respect his girlfriend.
I laughed in this scene because I could relate. I've been single for 6 years now, and I forgot how to date already. Even I, myself, can't know how or the right way to communicate with my future boyfriend after many years of being single. Lol
And in the next episodes, there's a part of me that regrets choosing and watching this anime. Because it feels like this anime is just made to slap a single like me—that I don't have a jowa (boyfriend). Lol
Anyway, what I also like about the story of this anime is that there are some scenes that actually happen in real-life relationship situations.
There are a lot of things that happen in relationships, and watching the other scenes made me realize that when entering a relationship, there are a lot of unexpected things that will happen and that you are not always happy. There are some people who are not happy in your relationship. And thinking about it, this is why I've been single for the past six years. It's very complicated to enter into a relationship. Which makes me feel lazy. But, I guess... Now that I'm turning 24 years old, this anime made me realize that situations like that can be a way to prove your love to each other. Because before you enter into a relationship, you should be prepared that pain and misunderstandings are part of the relationship to make it stronger.
What made me dislike the anime's female protagonist even more?
At the beginning, just as I said above, her life decisions made me hate her a little bit. I admit that I liked her when I continued to watch the next episodes because she had character development. However, I didn't expect that she would say this one. She has the type of personality that I hate the most. And that is, someone will just like the person when he or she changes their looks or personality. They can't like the person if they don't meet the standards that some people get used to. It's cruel, right? Because there are some people who don't like a person if they are ugly, especially if they are fat. They will make some excuses, such as that they are not ready to enter a relationship. But the real reason is that they don't like them because they are based on their looks. If the person is handsome, pretty, and sexy, they will go for it, and I bet they will say "yes" right away. Lol
Speaking of looks, let me introduce to you my new anime crush.
This character in this anime made my heart flutter! Because of his cool personality. Okay, did I mention or admit in my previous anime blogs here that I like red flag guys in real life? His character was red before, but I am color blind. Charought!
I admit that looks make my heart pound, but it's just an expression, or I'm just enjoying my thing while I am still single and young. I'm just being like this when I am watching some drama, movies, series, or K-pop idols. However, when looking for someone to date in real life, I am not into looks or body. I don't know when I fall for someone. Because I believe that falling in love doesn't have a reason. You will just feel it until you realize it.
My final thoughts about this Anime:
For me, the story is good enough, and I think this anime is just suited for young people, like teenagers. Because it's a teenage romance. It's also good for teens because there's a lesson when you like to explore or enter into a relationship. Not just teens, but it's also good to watch for some people who don't have any experience in dating.
My rating for this anime is 9.8/10. Maybe you thought that this anime was really good for me, but that was just in the beginning, and after watching it until the last episodes, there are a lot of things that I don't understand, or for me, the situation in some scenes is pointless, which made me disappoint a little bit. But this is just for me. Okay?
So... I am just done watching another anime, and finally! I'm also done writing my thoughts about this anime. I hope you enjoyed reading my thoughts. Share your own opinion in the comment section if you are done watching this.

Wahhh! Sorry sorry. Pwede mo naman panuorin eh. Para may idea kana tsar
I'm not really a fan of anime movies but my friends are! I'd like to know the title of this movie or series? So that I can also tell my friends about it since it looks interesting to watch🥰
Try to watch this one! Maybe this anime will pass to your liking because it's a high school romance and comedy. The title is written on the title of my blog; it's "Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and the Inexperienced Me." You can watch this on the Loklok app for free.
When I saw the first episode broadcast, after reading what it was about, it caught my attention. Although it has a very similar plot to many other RomComs, this one has its details that make it unique. The issue of the girl having "experience" having sex right when we are introduced to it and the protagonist having no experience sounds like the typical romance anime couple.
But, the way in which they develop the story and the characters, The situations in which they face, the decisions they make and the path in which everything goes gives it that essence and is quite engaging, of course. Although, for many, this anime was much slower than people expected.
I liked it and I give it a 7.5/10.
Your review is very good.
Same thought! This anime gave me a familiar feeling while watching the episodes.
The story of this anime didn't lack details, yet I couldn't understand the other situations. Maybe the writer didn't think that much about how the story would go.
Thanks for reading! I am glad that you like how I wrote my review of the anime that I have watched. 🥰
The anime I know is only Naruto. Hehe. Maybe because I am more into horror movies with real human characters. But, there was one anime series I watched before that made me so addicted because of their loveteam. I forgot the name of that series, but a girl doesn’t like to go out. She just stays in her dark room but someone in their school had a secret crush to her, but when they see each other, she hates the boy so much.
