Once, as a lad of about 16, I wanted to leave this town, but I could only do so for a couple of weeks... Another time, already in my mid-30s, I tried again, and it didn't last as long
I sometimes wonder how it would feel if I stayed all my life in a neighborhood on a wooded hill in a subtropical seaside city where I was born. Like, neighbors of mine of the same age would probably feel being cousins to me - someone you grew up with, and knew as long as they existed, and the adults would be aunts and uncles. Or knowing trees for 40 years - how would it feel? Sounds like magic - amazing deep connection with everything around you - but, at the same time, like a cage. You can never have it all - every choice in life comes with the bitter sacrifice of countless other scenarios.
Wonderful set, as always. Love the charm of the neglected small town. Hope to experience this in India - I found such a town with seemingly great potential - let's see.
My dear friend and tireless traveler @x-rain 😀🙏!... Thank you for this charming and thoughtful comment!... Yes, it is true, you can have "one or the other" but it is difficult or impossible to have both... I don't know if I will end my days in this town, although I would like it to be so. But this my country (Venezuela) becoming more difficult every day to live normally... My eldest son (36 years old) lived in various parts of the continent from a very young age but has now settled down, married, and has children (2) in another country, so possibly, when I get older, I will end up being "the grandfather who takes photos" 😂 somewhere far from here... But I don't know, I don't see myself far from these streets and roads where I have always lived... Fate will have the last word I suppose... Thanks again for your visit, I hope to see photos soon of that little town in India that you have found... Have an excellent weekend, my dear friend...

Wow, this could be an amazing new chapter in your life 😀 Of course, I’m rooting for you to go traveling 😄 but it might be staying in your hometown is a better choice for you... You'll know for sure when the time comes.
Thank you for being on Hive, happy to follow your beautiful photography journey, @jlinaresp! Have a great weekend too!
