Maintaining Dignity|| The Message in the Lyrics.

In such an opinionated world, the ability to go through life without a care in the world is such an admirable trait and there is a young lady who unapologetically possesses this trait.

Her aura steps into an arena seconds before she does. Jenny is one of those ladies who commands a room without even trying to. The interesting part, she doesn't have to apply any form of pressure. No, she isn't huge or extremely beautiful. Neither is she extravagant and shimmering but she is unique and uniqueness is a very rare quality to find in the world today.

This is why I admire individuals, male and female alike, who do their thing. These sets of individuals do not emulate anyone or anything, except they are featured in a movie of course. And this is what I feel life should be like; more of living and less of emulating.

Many people spend a better part of their life trying to live up to a standard set by an individual who isn't probably following that standard as steadfastly as he claims. We forget that we all have different paths to follow in life. Some people are meant to be successful in their fifties, some in their twenties and some people are more or less born into wealth. These different categories of people cannot compete with each other because one group would always have the upper hand. So why not be true to yourself and avoid galavanting?

The sad part is that we emulate so much that we forget who we truly are. We forget how to live and exist, how to have fun, how to appreciate the things worthy of appreciation. Why don't we love ourselves first?

The timeless masterpiece “Greatest Love of All” by Whitney Houston, delves deep into the themes of self love, self discovery and self-development. It is one song I grew up listening to on repeat and this impacted my life a great deal.

Whitney Houston's soul stirring vocals breathe life into her lyrics, reminding listeners that the greatest love we'll ever know is the love we have for ourselves.

The song's message is clear: you are enough. Your worth isn't defined by external validation or societal expectations. You are unique, valuable and deserving of respect and love– not just from others but from yourself too.

Also, It is pertinent that you maintain your dignity in all you do as this defines who you truly are in the long run. So why don't you embark on a journey to embrace your individuality and uniqueness, while celebrating your strengths and accomplishments? This isn't impossible and if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it.
