How to Make a Slouchy Beanie.
Hello everyone✨.

Recently, a different type of beanie has come up on my for you page(fyp) so many times and everytime this variant comes up, I wish to make one for myself. I've seen so many designs and patterns of this variant and it just looks so aesthetically pleasing.

I made my wish come through today when I decided to finally make a slouchy beanie for myself and I must say I loved how it turned out.

Materials Needed.
🤍: Yarn.
🤍: 3.0mm crochet hook.
🤍: Measuring tape.
🤍: Darning Needle.
🤍: A pair of scissors.

Procedure
This crochet slouch beanie was made using repeated rows of increasing circles.

First, I made a magic circle and chained two to fasten. Into the magic circle, I made twelve double crochet stitches and ended the row with a slip stitch.

For the second row, I made an increase into every previous stitch by making two double crochet stitches into every space. This brought the stitch count to twenty-four.

For the next six rows I kept making increases into every other space. This brought me to the width I required.

From here, I maintained the stitch count with no increases or decreases till the very end of the project. Since I was using a single strand to make this project, I made about forty-five rows. It's pertinent to mention this because using double strands would mean using a bigger hook size and this automatically means less number of rows.

For the finishing, I made two rows of single crochet stitches to make the ends look very neat.

Finally, I sewed in my loose strands, cleaned off the lints and the slouchy beanie was ready. I look forward to making many more slouchy beanies in the future and the very next one I make may be a bit more accessorized.

So there you have it, a slouchy beanie. What do you think of this beanie? Would it be something you'd like to try out? Do let me know.
