Hello everyone ✨
Radiance and Luminescence is quite an epic title for this piece. The motivation to make this home decor was inspired by the little candle I had laying around.
Sometime last year, I bought a candle as we had a power outage and I urgently needed to read some books. My aim was futile as I didn't get to use the candle. With the candle and the waste plastic bottles in sight, I decided to make this home decor.
Materials
For this piece, I used
- Plastic bottles
- Colours
- Cutter
- scissors
- Ruler
- Glitters
- Candle
- Lighter or matches
- Gum
Procedure
Making this was fun all the way. I started by gathering all my materials to ensure that I didn't lack anything.
I used a big bottle and a smaller bottle. The big bottle was used for the top and the smaller bottle was used beneath. I cut the big bottle into three and settled for the topmost part that had a cover. I used scissors to make the triangular patterns.
For the bottom part of this piece, I used the bottom part of the smaller bottle. I made a little opening where I would insert my candle afterwards.
After making the necessary patterns and adjustment, I started colouring. The upper part was painted red and the lower part was a mixture of brown and yellow. You may be wondering why I went through the stress of using acrylic paints instead of my regular spray paint? Well, spray paints are highly flammable and at some point, I was working with fire.
After painting, I left the parts to dry before adding my glitters. I like the way the glitters were shimmering under the sun.
From here, I made a little hole in the cover to insert a threadlike handle.
After inserting the handle, I went ahead to add my mini candle inside. I joined the top and bottom parts together with an adhesive gum. With that, I was pretty much done with my craft.
I had to search for a dark corner to take the perfect picture.
With a dark corner in sight, I lit my candle and went ahead to take pictures. This little lamp came out looking really spectacular.
This decoration can be used at home at different corners. It gives a homely feel to a room. I would patiently wait for the night to light my candle again.
This was a great use of waste bottles. I think this came out beautifully, what do you think?

Materiales
Para esta pieza, he utilizado
- Botellas de plástico
- Colores
- Cutter
- Tijeras
- Regla
- Purpurina
- Vela
- Encendedor o cerillas
- Chicle
Procedimiento

what an incredibly cool decor. One could hang this up pretty much anywhere and it would beautify the whole place.

Exactly. And it radiates best at night.

I'll waste my money elsewhere 😗
Say na waste😂..
It's not a waste of money😌
Yunno you could make this at home yeah?
It is beautiful. !DIY
Thank you so much dearest ✨
You're most welcome dear
Isn't it going to melt given that it is plastic? like when the candle finishes with no one is watching?
I admire your creative, good job!
I would be very cautious with it as I wouldn't want the wax to burn off the plastic.
Thank you so much ✨
You are welcome

Lol at this point I'm not surprised anymore. You radiate creativity.
This actually looks easy and nice at the same time, just about anyone can do it.
I see you've been doing a lot of creative stuff lately especially with spray paint.
I'm flattered😊
Its actually an easy project and the materials are not far fetched.
