Dreams As A Doorway
Has there ever been a time when you had a dream and felt like there was a message embedded in that dream? Or, are you part of the set of people that feel like dreams are irrelevant occurrences and shouldn't be given much thought?
We have all dreamt at one point in our lives. By this, I mean that we have all closed our eyes and at some point some images–whether good or bad–start to play in the dreamland. I cannot exactly give dreams a particular definition because there have been times when my dreams were as a result of what I thought about or what I saw before going to bed. While on other days, the dreams are very random and out of this world.
The dreamland is one place where time and gravity do not function in full force. First, you're at your house and in a twinkle of an eye, you're at your highschool or your church. How did you get there? You do not know:)
Some people have dreams but whenever they wake up from their slumber, they totally forget about the dreams. It feels like that particular memory has been erased. But, once in a while, there are dreams you remember vividly when you wake up. I had one of such dreams last night.
The question here is "when you wake up and you still remember your dreams vividly, what do you do next?"
…Write it down
At least, that is what I do. Writing down my dreams is one practice that I try to be very consistent with. This is because I see such dreams as messages. At first, the dream may not make so much sense to you. But writing them down helps you to remember your dreams whenever you pick up your journal to read.
I read through my dream journal today and most of the dreams that didn't make so much sense at the time began to make a little more sense. It wouldn't be so much of a shocker if I said that ninety percent of the dreams came to life.
Dreaming is fun, dreaming is insightful and dreams are educational. Let me share a little story from my highschool.
It turns out that one very tough promotional examination was approaching and I didn't know my left from my right. For some reason, I didn't know how or where to start reading from . With tears in my eyes, I read the notes I had and went to sleep. I'm not one of those students that reads overnight.
Not to sound cliche or anything but in my dream that night, the subject teacher appeared and shared the examination scripts with us. I saw all the questions and as you can imagine, I couldn't answer 60% of the questions. After manoeuvring and answering the few questions I could answer, I submitted my question paper in the dream.
Immediately I woke up, I went to my study materials and checked the answers to some questions I could remember from the dream. It would be interesting to know that the questions were exactly the same when I entered the examination hall that day. And yes, I passed that exam with flying colours. You may call that dreamland expo but well, it was what it was.
In essence, what I'm trying to say is that most dreams are helpful and not all of them should be tagged as irrelevant. In the meantime, I would love to hear what you do when you dream. Do you write them down? Or do you have another approach to dreams?

I believe dreams are door to the spirit or supernatural realm and one thing i know is that before anything happen in the physical, it must have happened in the supernatural.
I dont write down my dreams because they do come to pass almost immediately but i think i will start writing them down.
I do have the weirdest of dreams
Not all of them are weird right?
Yeah
Not all

You were indeed given a helping hand in the dilemma you faced. Isn't that precious.🥹
If we pay attention and listen there are realms beyond the physical we might shy away from and dim as trivial- I think I started to sound like a sensei back there😅
You are right @wongi I do write mine down too especially the confusing ones as for the ones that are unforgettable and feels like an answered prayer I hold them dear to my heart and pray. Yes, I pray over all my dreams and seek for better understanding.
Thanks for sharing dear💕
You definitely did 😅
Praying about our dreams is a really good practice. This way, you're given some sort of solace because you've tabled the dream to God.
It's the way some dreams jump from one venue to another for me.
Also, you're right, dreams do come true and some are life-saving messages.
Thank you for sharing

Its an utmost pleasure.
Wait so you saw the questions to your exam in your dream?!
Tell me the position you slept in that night cos I need to have that dream ASAP😂.
But honestly I don't usually see my dreams as something to record somewhere, I mostly forgot them either way so I rarely think about them. But now that you've brought it up, i think I'll start taking them more seriously.
Nice story!

I think you should sleep to your right. Keep your hands like you want to fly. Then your legs should be straight because what is this question that you're asking😂😂
I'm glad you found this insightful. Thank you for stopping by dear #dreemer.
Most of the times I totally forget my dreams when I wake but the ones I remember I write them down and try to read it thoroughly to see if it was actually passing a message to me.
That's a good practice dearie
Wongi, the #dreemer who actually dreams. You're a top kid o.😂💕
Writing your dreams down and all. You're a true wonder woman.
Oya start writing your own dream down ma🌚
Do you know the kind of long, funny dreams I have. No, thank you.😂
Funny🌜🌜🌚
I know we all dream wongi ... but I never remember my dreams from night time, the only ones are if I nod off in the day!
Oh well, I guess you're exempted from those who would be writing them down 🙃
haha thank you!
