Hello Everyone ✨.

Still on the topic of wearing my crochet items in a bid to advertise them, I wore a pair of my crochet earrings to church last Sunday and the reviews I got were just so heartwarming. Many people commended how beautiful the earrings were and about two people requested a similar pair but in different colours.

This was the much needed motivation to make many more earrings and for a while, I may be bombarding you with different designs of crochet earrings. My favorite part of it all is that crochet pieces are so lightweight and aren't uncomfortable to be worn on the ear.

So without beating around the bush, let me take you through the process of making yet another crochet masterpiece in three easy steps.

The Process.

To make this beauty, I started by inserting the yarn through the pearl bead. It's pertinent to get beads that have holes in them.

After inserting the yarn through the hole, I made a slip knot as usual, inserted my hook in the knot and ended with a slip stitch over the bead. This slip stitch locked the pearl in position.

Next, I made a chain and into the ring that formed while securing the pearl, I inserted ten single crochet stitches. This brought me to the end of the first row.

To begin row two, I made a chain of three and turned my work over. Next, I inserted two double crochet stitches into every space from the previous row starting with the chain three space. The chain three counted as a stitch. At the end of this row, I had a total of twenty double crochet stitches. This stitch count is important for the next row.

For row three, I started by chaining one and turning my work over. Then, I skipped one space and into the next space I made; one single crochet stitch, one half double crochet stitch, one double crochet stitch, one half double crochet stitch and one last single crochet stitch, all into the same space. Then, I skipped two spaces and repeated this pattern.

So for the first and last parts, I skipped only one space but for every other insertion in between, I skipped two spaces before repeating the pattern.

This brought me to the end of the body of the earrings. The next thing I did was to neatly hide the loose strands of yarn. And gently burn off as many lints as I could.

Then, I proceeded to repeat the steps again to make the second pair of the earring.

The last bit of this process had to do with attaching the jump rings and earring hooks. I did that and the earrings were ready to be worn.

I absolutely loved how this pattern turned out. Now, I have to find a dress that corresponds with this pepper red pair of earrings as I will definitely be wearing them on my next visit to church.

What do you think of this pair of earrings? I'd love to hear your opinions.
