Constructed in 1700, Villa Arcadia was renowned for its elegance and traditional ambiance. Few others were aware, though, that he was concealing a sinister secret.
In 1830, the De Rossi family—among the most aristocratic and well-respected in the area—occupied the mansion. The family's bright spot was the youthful and stunning Isabella De Rossi, the Count De Rossi's daughter. Everyone who saw her was mesmerized by her emerald eyes and beautiful raven hair. But Isabella's heavenly appearance belied an excruciating agony.
Alessandro, a lovely young poet from modest beginnings, captured Isabella's heart. Isabella's happiness quickly gave way to sadness upon learning she was expecting. Under duress, Alexander broke their love and left her to wed a wealthy woman his family had selected.

Isabella's heart was too broken to mend. With anguish and despair filling her heart on a chilly, rainy night, Isabella made the decision to end her agony. He composed a farewell note to his parents and retreated to his favorite room, which had a huge window overlooking the garden. After that, he took one final glance at the starry sky before hanging himself with a silk rope.
The corpse of Isabella was discovered the next morning. The community as a whole and his family were stunned to learn of his passing.

Ever since that day, there has been an eerie and unsettling aura around the home.

A horrible incident happened on the evening of November 13, 1830, a few months later. To attempt to find some peace again and to drown their sorrows, the De Rossi family threw a grand gala. But something unbelievable happened that evening.

In the lavishly furnished rooms, guests laughed and danced without realizing what was going to unfold. Abruptly, the mansion's shadows sprung to life as the candles started to flicker. Isabella's pallid, spectral figure materialized, her eyes brimming with bottomless hate.
The visitors started to tumble one by one, like stringless puppets. While some were found lying in pools of blood, others had their faces twisted in a look of sheer dread. Not even the servants were spared. Fearful screams reverberated through the hallways as the slaughter proceeded without interruption.

The villa was a death camp at sunrise. Isabella was so angry that night that she had killed every living thing in the room. The villa was deserted and allowed to decay along with its horrors and secrets.
Anyone brave enough to approach Villa Arcadia even now can still hear the wailing of afflicted ghosts. Isabella's spirit explores the rooms in peace, seeking retribution against the love that deceived her and the life that was taken from her. The shadows of that tragic night remain.

Because the curse of the young suicide lady continues to exact its awful punishment, no one has ever been able to live there again.
