VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 30 , "UNCONDITIONALLY" BY KATY PERRY, COVER BY @winanda.

Welcome music lovers.

We have hit another milestone in the Vibes community and I'm glad to be part of it, we have come a long way and we have grown to a great number of active members of both artists and writers.

I think we need to celebrate this on X Spaces and on INLEO in a threadcast, it would be fun interacting with you all in the live chat on INLEO. What do you think about this? I hope @lordbutterfly and the judges will consider this.

I wanted to do an original song this week and after composing verse 1 tune while I was cooking, I started humming the chorus of "Unconditionally" by Katy Perry. I knew I had heard the song somewhere but had no idea of who sang it or the song title and my siblings could neither remember.

After that, I started listening to a playlist of YouTube music suggested for me, they were cool songs and luckily for me, I heard "Unconditionally", oh, yes, it was part of the songs in the playlist and I exclaimed with excitement; "Yes! This is the song I've been thinking of"!

So I decided to perform it this week. This is also one topic I love to discuss when the opportunity comes. So relax and keep reading, I would love to hear your thoughts about "unconditional love".

Some people said:

Love with your brain, not your heart.

Haha. How do you do that? While some said:

No human can love another unconditionally, only Jesus Christ did and no one can.

Is that true? What do you think and what have you heard or what do you know about loving unconditionally?

"Unconditionally" is a song expressing loving someone wholly despite knowing the person's flaws and strengths, the good and bad sides.

Loving unconditionally is the kind of love God wants us to express for one another. It's not only for couples in a relationship or marriage or parents-children relationship that this kind of love should be expressed and experienced but on a general level. Can we do that? It may be difficult but we can try.

As I initially wanted to do an original song this week and this song came to mind and with my knowledge about love, haha, I decided to change a few lines of the lyrics to express my thoughts.

Moving into the relationship/marriage part of this, oftentimes, we don't assess someone's flaws before we fall in love, it happens naturally and the question our minds keep asking is:

Can this person love me wholly the way I do?

...and then fear creeps in because we are scared of being hurt and brokenhearted and we love selflessly hoping the other would do the same.

Let love lead, it's not forced, it's patient and kind and so as you read this always remember the love God has for us despite our sinfulness and remember he wants us to love one another the way He loves us.

When we are intentional about something, we will always remind ourselves about it and work towards achieving that goal.

If you're in a relationship or marriage where you and your partner or spouse are intentional about loving each other unconditionally and having a lasting relationship without involving a third party (because a third party at times could make things worse), then you will have an unbreakable bond and a happy marriage.
