HUMAN ANGEL
When we are born into the world, we have someone to guide us until we are upright. The guardians watch closely as we crawl, walk and then until we can handle life challenges.
Sometimes, parents wonder how fast their children grow, and some still want to be around like the angels they've always been.
My little nephew is almost 1 year old, and he has started walking. So here is a poem that came to mind. I can't wait to visit my sister and her family to see how he walks from one point to another.
Human Angel
Tracking you in the morning
Okay, alright
Watching you falling
Okay, alright
Now it's unbelievable
Watching you walking
Seems like yesterday
Now, you're walking today
Not long, you will be upright
Watching you
I wonder when you'll be upright
I'll be watching you, yeah

This is so appropriate for me right now as I just had a FaceTime call with my 5 month old granddaughter. She's the first granddaughter for me and it's both all new and a reminiscing of when my children were that age.
