Wednesdays in nature and relaxation

Once again, another Wednesday, and we all find ourselves interacting through this community, where we all share our routines, walks, photographs, and anecdotes. It's an excellent day to make your day special in every way. In my case, I just arrived after taking an extensive walk through Leofling Park, located in the city of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. I took advantage of the sunny weather from early in the morning, so we should take advantage of those moments when it doesn't rain so much, especially for those of us who love to go for walks, whether in the city or somewhere with a lot of natural surroundings.


Of course, as usual, on this day when I went to the park, nature is always very noticeable. Without that, I think these walks would be meaningless; everything would be, to say the least, very dull for our lives. This balance with nature makes one feel a certain relaxation and peace during the walk. Although, well, a week ago I went to the park and had the mishap of brushing against a plant called picapica, and so far the affected part of my body has barely recovered. Well, that's always part of these journeys, so to speak. However, well, you always have to be cautious in situations that can be uncomfortable.


Partly, I've thought about doing this routine every day, and the truth is, it wouldn't be difficult because this park is very close to where I live. I can access these places amidst landscapes and lush vegetation in just a 20-minute walk. So, between going to the park, returning, and taking a tour, I can spend anywhere from 2 hours or more. Although, well, everything can vary if you suddenly find yourself admiring a panorama or taking photographs, among many things that make us take a little time, as well as having that contact with nature and balancing all this energy. I've always said that being in places where there's a lot of vegetation somehow helps balance those energies in the body, be it stress or whatever you may be feeling.


So, of course, this has become a great catalyst, a form of therapy, and a routine that also helps us clear our minds from everything that may arise during the weekly routine, whether it's work, jobs, or the many things that human beings must accomplish within their parameters. Therefore, this free time, which isn't a bad thing, is used to find time to relax and find that balance. I always seek that balance through photography, which has always been an activity that acts as a daily therapy.
