Visual city - Monomad Challenge
Valencia - Venezuela, as always, is my second home, although sometimes I spend time living in this beautiful city. I love to explore its streets and, above all, take photographs of every detail and every corner of its unique universe. This universe, which I'm showing you on this occasion, is a glimpse of some of the corners of the city center, where you can appreciate a glimpse of its architecture, a blend of various styles: colonial, neoclassical, and a bit of modernity—a true contrast between its streets.
I took these photographs with my cell phone because I hadn't planned on taking my camera out. But, well, we all carry our phones with us wherever we go, and in some ways, it's much more practical than carrying my own camera. Plus, you go unnoticed by anyone. Although, well, those aren't reasons not to take photos with my camera. I simply didn't take it, and it was better to take these photos with my phone.
Every time I go to Valencia, I always bring back many postcard memories of how beautiful it is. I'm always partly nostalgic for the city I lived in for many years, both during my university days and later when I was with my wife for a few seasons. Finally, these black and white scenes were perfect for me because they better fit what I envisioned.
All photographs are mine.
