Immortal statues - Monomad Challenge

Greetings everyone, today I'm sharing a series highlighting silhouettes of statues or sculptures of certain figures from Venezuelan history. I can recognize some of them by their likeness, such as Simón Bolívar or Francisco de Miranda, but others I can't identify. But for me, they're simply more subjects for photographic composition. And, as a photography enthusiast, I love capturing silhouettes, whether of people, live animals, or, as in this case, sculptures, which are easier because they obviously don't move—perfect for this kind of photo.

On another note, I reflect on how these figures became immortalized in our country's history and, after hundreds of years, remain present in many aspects of Venezuelan society, not only in the form of statues but also in books, street names, cities, states, and other things that characterize Venezuelan society.

All these statues were photographed between the cities of Puerto Cabello and Valencia, the main cities of Carabobo State in Venezuela, which has always been known as the site of one of the most important battles for the country's independence.

All photographs are my own.

Very powerful Shots dear Friend!
