Eternal silhouettes in scenes - Monomad Challenge

In this new edition of black and white photographs, I show you a sample of a series that focused mainly on La Llovizna Park in Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela. The main subjects are people who visit this park to appreciate the grandeur and natural beauty of the entire place. However, natural wonders are not part of the main objectives for these compositions in this case, but rather are part of the surroundings of all these subjects, where I focused on capturing some silhouettes and, in other cases, a certain partiality of shadow and light in the scene.

In the case of the silhouettes for these circumstances, I took advantage of the great La Llovizna waterfall, which is not noticeable because, let's say, the lighting is more superimposed. However, I took advantage of this reflection to generate backlighting on these human subjects, capturing those details of silhouettes, faces, or, ultimately, human figures. Therefore, it is a natural way of composing, taking advantage of these elements of the environment itself.

These are some of the elements I use in certain situations to create photographs. Just as a white wall can be used as a reflector, a large waterfall is also perfect for this. All this takes into account the position of the sun, and the timing of these photos, right around 4 p.m., the sun was perpendicular to the waterfall, making it perfect for these compositions. Of course, not all of these photographs were taken near the waterfall; all the others were circumstantial.
