Cat faces

For this occasion, I'm sharing this series of photographs highlighting close-up details of my cats' faces. Without a doubt, I think cats have the best anatomy of all living beings; it's almost perfection, from their colors and the patterns of their fur to everything about them. That's why I always admire them and take pictures of them. I want to know what they're like, and although some say all cats look alike, in reality, each one has its own unique characteristics, even if they all share the same basic features.

As you can see, three of my cats are tabby, although only two of them are related, while the other comes from a different lineage. Despite their resemblance, they all have distinct features, whether it's the pattern of their fur or even the shades of their color, which can be darker or lighter. The others, however, are quite different. On one hand, there's a cat that's completely black, even though it's related to two tabby cats. On the other hand, the black and white cat, the only one of its kind in the group, has its own unique characteristics.

Every time I see my cats, I always say that their genetics are truly impressive. Even though many of them are related, they can still end up with different colors, coat patterns, and even eye colors. For example, the black cat is very different from the others because its mother is white and gray, and its father is tabby. However, within its lineage and genetic makeup, there might be a ancestor who was originally black but only expressed that trait now.
