In life, not many things align according to our desires, we just have to take whatever we can, be grateful and do our best.

Except the do our best, which I feel is a cultural thing I fully agree with, doing your best is not enough and is often used as an excuse. I prefer to do, enjoy what I do, and let it go, it does not have to be the best.
