Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.
This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 88

The challenge this time was that she was 18, and I'm forty. Well that and that she lives with her mother in the Netherlands and I live in Spain, but we have a great time texting together.
I decide to visit her for a few days, just to see how we would do in real life. She the cutest, shiest girl I ever met.
But she is honesta s fuck, no hidden agenda, no masks. What I see is what I get and I like what I see. She just finished school, so she has all the time in the world to visit me in the hotel nera her house.
At least till sundown. because her mom is kinda crazy strict on thi 18 year old.
Only when I am back in Spain she asks me why we did not have sex, we had all the opportunity.
"I did not want to ruin your first time Yalennix, it has to be special and I am living very far. We might never meet again, I donยดt want your first time to be like that."
Three months later
We sit together on the couch, shocked. The Skype conversation with the police has just ended but she's not completely reassured.
"I told you my mother is crazy and would do anything to stop me!"
Yalennix stares at the floor.
"I know, but she can't do anything. You're eighteen years old and you just indicated that you're here completely voluntarily. She can try to stop you, but you have the law on your side. She really can't do anything."
Two weeks later
"Finally some peace," I sigh enjouing my morning coffee. Really I don't know what that mother did but I've seen more police in the past two weeks than in my entire life.
After that first Skype call, the guy called again. Now he wanted me to ask the Spanish local police to come, so that Yalennix can indicate that she wants to stay. Or in case she wants to leave, feel protected.
Really what do these guys think. And then there was the national police. Coming to my office for a talk?
How do you mean intimidating. They could have asked me by phone to come to their office. They wanted the whole story and then get a tour of my house.
You should look with the eyes of an officer in your own house. Sex toys such as handcuffs, extra mattresses, porn, photo and film cameras, sleeping pills, everything is suddenly suspicious.
Even the place I stored our passports was carefully checked.
Very special, is what I think when the detective shakes my hand and says that as far as he is concerned everything is clear. There are no signs that she is being held here against her will.
Nice, the words make me feel like I was supposed to be a criminal or something.
The fact that Yalennix is super shy, doesn't speak a word of Spanish, and hardly any English doesn't really work in our favor either.
On the other hand, maybe it is normal that they are this thorough. There must be some idiots out there who are thinking about kidnapping naive eighteen-year-olds and shipping them to Spain against her will.
Although I do wonder how I should have done that?
It's quite a long flight, we stayed in a hotel, we travel by bus, and Yalennix is certainly not the lightest. If she throws her weight into the fight I won't get her to move at all.
I really wonder how these thorough officers see me do that kidnapping fabricated by her mother.
Anyway, it's been quiet for a few days now and it's probably clear to everyone that this must be a false accusation.
With coffee and bread I settle down in the big soft grandpa chair in the living room.
Lovely to work from home on Friday, that's a good start to the weekend, and to accept packages I think when the doorbell rings.
I open the door but the man opposite me doesn't have a package, "Just tell me," I say slightly irritated because I actually want to get back to work.
"You're Martin Martio?"
"Yes, and.." before I can ask anything I am pulled out of the house by the man next to him and grabbed by the third man.
Now two more figures come towards my door. A man and a woman, the man makes a gesture that he wants go up.
The man without the package nods approvingly.
"You stay here for a while," says the man without the package while still holding my arm.
