Beyond The Looking Glass is the second book in the Unseen series, a story that came to me from the other side. A story where I thought I was just the narrator until I heard the Words of the Unseen.

This second story goes beyond time and place and mixes the long ago with the here and now. Because history keeps repeating, until we learn and do something about it.

Beyond The Looking Glass - Words of the Unseen - Chapter 117

Dear Reader, life is sweet, bittersweet as the song at the end will tell you.

Such true words, because if it were not for the bitterness, we would not notice the delights in life.

Suffering while the eyes of abundance are on you, suffering while you have no choice. It might not be easy being green, but being human can be very painful, as well.

Even though it has decreased over time, can we truly ever end the suffering?

I wonder....as without suffering, there would be no pleasure in living, would there?

That blue turban story, hidden in the back of my mind, might have been the missing piece. It makes the weirdness make a strange kind of sense, at least in my messed-up mind.

It explains why I needed to learn about these unbelievable things, it explains why they prepared me for this role and responsibility.

I am supposed to prepare and be the treasurer of the New Order of The Roundtable. That image came to me years ago, and no matter how I try, I can´t seem to shake it.

That Refugio plan is tied to an order that, at a certain point in time, would be headed by someone with a blue turban.

At least that is what I see, now what if I am wrong?

What if I am lost without guidance, and made all of this up to give my life meaning?

What if I have thrown some urban myths and historical legends together with some stories told by schizo women to try and make some type of sense out of this senseless world we live in?

If that is the case, I am happy I did so and did not have to revert to any drugs or god.
If that is the case, I will continue my little crusade, it´s too late to turn back anyway.

If I am wrong, I might start a whole new cult, a whole new Priory of Sion, based on nothing.

But what if I am not?

What if it´s real?
What if I just made you part of the preparations required for the return of Jesus 2.0?

Well, in that case, it might not feel that special, just like the people that listened to St. John the Baptist when he told them about the coming of The Christ.

Back then, on the banks of the Jordan River, some people might have felt compelled by St. John's story of what was coming.
Other people were ill at ease with it, as the change might be too uncomfortable.

Plenty of people did not even stop to listen and went about their business as usual.

With today´s knowledge, all would have stopped and listened, made selfies with the guy who, in a couple of years, would baptize Jesus.

St. John was certain of his coming, or made it sound as if he was.
So what is it with me and the Baptist guy?

Long ago, when I was just initiated into the magical realm, in the same house, around the same time, as I fought that daemon from many chapters ago, I was asked to think about my magical Avatar.

Whom do you want to have a representation of your magical self?

Now I have many magical idols: Hans Klok, Morgaine La Fey, Arglwyddes, Lilith, Helena of Troy, Cleopatra, and Margarita de Heks van Appelscha (The Witch of Appelscha).

But none of them came to mind at that time.

I did not answer the question directly, if I remember well.
But when I did this is what I arrived at:

"Jesus is definitely the greatest wizard of all time. But I can and will not compare myself to the greatest. I will compare myself to the one who made the greatest possible, the wizard behind the Curtain, St. John The Baptist."

If that made you smile, great, because there is a bit of truth to any good joke, isn´t there?

Maybe there is such a thing as the father of the Messiah complex? Or maybe even the grandfather.

I will baptize this complex the St. John´s complex, and if I am wrong, congratulations, you just read the first story ever triggered by the mind of a patient that suffers from the St. John´s complex.

A Blue Turban, a new Order, Christianity 2.0?
I don´t think so, I do not envision a new Catholic Church made big by spilling the blood of so many.

Jesus had no church, he was just the savior.
Someone to guide the way for those who were not guided by voices.

A savior is a little light on the very dark path of life, someone to hold onto when you are scared.
An influencer, spreading wisdom and calm from a position that engages people to listen.

A savior is like Bob Marley, Martin Luther King, or even John Lennon. They spread the word, but the world did not listen.

The world is led by stupidity and greed, and unlike Darwin, I do not believe mankind is purely a result of evolution. I think somewhere down the line, we were tampered with (there is Erich von Däniken again).
