Pizza by the Roadside and a Puppy Named Chai: The Kind of Weekend We’ll Never Forget

A DINNER OUT IN A SIMPLE RESTAURANT AND A DOODLE GAME
We went to a cafe in Bogo City to lock in since we both are trying to focus on work and finding clients. I am not a VA yet but my boyfriend is training me, so we decided to search for a cafe to lock in and establish my account while he is searching for new clients. He is a Virtual Assistant and is searching for new clients, so if you have someone to refer him, a comment below will make our day so comforting and meaningful. We did what we had to do and afterwards closed the laptop to debrief ourselves from what happened in the cafe. And yes, we played skribl.io before going out to eat dinner at Bradix where we ordered steamed chicken, beef, and a small bowl of bulalo.

A SIMPLE SEASIDE CAMPING
After eating dinner in Bogo City, we decided to go home but out of the blue, we planned to camp by night at Lapyahan shoreline and work together on what we started in the cafe. Also, we were craving for a late night bond by the seaside, with waves rolling just right in front of our tent. We stayed overnight and went home the next afternoon. We had our essentials packed and needed resources for a simple beach camp. We had our breakfast and lunch at the nearest karenderya since it is the only convenient place where we can eat. We were busy in the morning since my boyfriend plucked my white hairs and I was listening to the Call Me By Your Name playlist while watching the blue waters of Lapyahan coast.

A PIZZA CRAVINGS
When we left the coast, our feet filled with sand and bodies wetter than the water under the scorching sun, we craved pizza after passing by a pizza shop. We bought a Hawaiian one, which cost 3$ only, with spicy sauce, although it disappointed us at first because it was not the same size as shown on the banner outside the shop. But still the taste was good and we ate it beside the road where many people passed by us and even looked at us while we ate. We just wanted to experience eating beside the road together and not mind the people. We enjoyed the pizza and writing this blog made me crave it again.

WE FINALLY HAVE OUR FIRST PUPPY (WHOM WE NAMED CHAI)
Chai, our crossbreeded Chihuahua puppy, whom we bought from a family friend fur parent, arrived by night when the fur parent delivered her to us. She has good fur colors and tiny legs, which made me fall in love with her more. She is so cute, and on her first night, she was so silent and adjusting. But today, she is enthusiastic and her child-like behavior begins to be apparent here in the house. The good thing about this puppy is she really doesn't make a sound a lot. She is so kind and girly. She runs funnily with her tiny legs and I also bought a shirt and a ribboned collar for her to look good. I will forever give her the life she deserves as a dog and as our daughter.
Weekends like this remind me that life does not always have to be grand to be meaningful. Sometimes it is found in simple dinners, spontaneous camping by the sea, roadside pizza cravings, quiet moments with music, and a tiny puppy running around the house. These are the pauses that make everything worth it. And as long as we continue choosing each other, choosing small joys, and choosing gratitude, I know that every weekend will always feel like a soft promise of peace and love waiting at our front door.
