While I haven't played this game in many years it was such a beautiful and tragic story of events that all of us have some knowledge of. It isn't often that I am touched by a game's story, especially when it isn't overloaded with words but this one really got to me. An amazing gem of a game.

In fact, now that you touch on the subject of dialogues, it is true that they are very scarce, unlike the fact that only a narrator speaks from time to time, and that perhaps leads you to pay more attention to the game's animations, and that with a suitable soundtrack manages to capture that nostalgic touch that they achieved.
That's what makes it so special. it conveys a message without long and drawn out "telling of the story" to you. It probably also made the game a lot easier for them to translate into multiple langauges all around the world!
