My Happiness Blueprint (No Price Tag Required)
Hello beautiful people. To our Muslim friends here, Happy Eid al-Fitr!
This week’s prompt is such a beautiful one, even though prompts from this community always push us to look inward and give the most genuine answers, but this particular one? It makes you smile while thinking of your response.

I made a statement: “Money can’t buy happiness.” Now, I’m excited that this article gives me the chance to talk about some of the non-material things that bring me deep joy.
The first thing that brings me immense joy is personal growth and self-development. I love leveling up, whether it’s through working on my appearance, mindset, or skills. The process of glowing up and becoming the best version of myself excites me.
I used to be a very emotional person, or better still, let me use the word "irrational". My emotions guided my thoughts, actions, and decisions. The funniest part is I didn’t even realize it until someone called me out on it. That criticism was where my journey to self-awareness hence, self-development began. Today, I still embrace and allow myself feel my emotions, they will always be a part of me, but they no longer control me. I’ve become as logical as you can get in a human, and I absolutely love that. It gives me an edge in navigating and finding my place in society.
Moreover, I can’t exactly place how long, but I’ve always had a clear mental picture of the kind of woman I want to become. It's like I can see clearly how she dresses, how she’s addressed, how she talks, walks, just everything. Working on myself every day brings me closer to being that woman, and the closer I get, the happier I feel.
Secondly, expressing myself through voice and writing. Whether it’s voiceovers, scriptwriting, public speaking, or even casual Instagram posts, I love bringing words to life and making an impact with my words. Words are fragile, just like egg, once spoken, it can't be taken back.
When I first joined Hive, I remember someone asked me, “Won’t writing every day get overwhelming?” I just laughed. Because that person definitely had no idea how extensively I think, hereby making it easy for me to write as often as I do. And the fact that hive is a platform where people actually interact with these contents? that fuels me even more. I love putting my thoughts out here(especially because it's such a safe space), learning from people, and having them learn from me.
Even aside writing, simply engaging in deep conversations with a friend, talking about life or helping them analyze and solve a current life’s situation brings me joy. Being heard, whether through my writing or speaking, brings a deep sense of fulfillment for me.
Thirdly, my greatest passion in life, which is helping women build a high self-esteem and self-confidence.
Listen, when it comes to talking about this passion of mine, a single article is barely enough let alone one paragraph. I burn for this cause. I genuinely love empowering women through my content, whether it’s about beauty, fashion, or self-esteem. Seeing others grow from my insights makes me feel fulfilled.
One of my happiest moments last year was hosting a 5-day femininity webinar that covered topics on beauty, fashion, finances, sexual health, and public speaking. Being able to gather and interact with intentional women who are as well passionate about upgrading their lives, oh, it was a most glorious time indeed. One of the most fulfilling experiences for me, as it was also for them.
Now, if you look closely, you’ll see that the aforementioned three things that bring me joy are all interconnected. They are woven from the same thread but each distinctly and uniquely different. This is why, even though the woman I aspire to be finds joy in speaking to and standing in front of thousands of women on stage, present me finds a deep sense of purpose, peace, and joy in taking the necessary steps to become her.
And that, my friends, are the non-material things that bring me joy that money could never buy.
