Voice Of Gaza: A Soul Poetry
(Edited)
Our throats,
Are parched.
Our babies
Dead.
Our tears,
Dried.
We smile,
Through
Bones
& Debris.
For tears
& laughter
Has dried
Away.
We smile,
At life,
To embrace
Death.
For the world,
Does not listen,
To our cries.
Of hunger,
Death & pain.
Our voice,
Is a mere smile,
A mere whimper,
That must one day,
Become the hope,
For the ones
Who might live,
Upon our graves.
As our dried bones,
Slowly rot away,
& flesh gradually
Fades.
Remember o humanity,
Nothing ever truly
Remains.
Everything is a mere,
Whimper...
A mere whisper,
Of truth & reckoning.
Soon ye shalth
See.

Powerful words. "Smile, Through Bones & Debris" hits hard. ❤️ #Hope
How sad it is that one moment we are filled with life and the next, battling to survive.
Smiling in the face of death because it is more peaceful and beautiful than life. Pains and sorrows with a lost voice.
I hope peace finds it way back.
A heartbreaking poem.
