Beneath the neon,

Glass & steel...

Homo augmentus

Breathes.

In cities built from circuits,

Soul & light.

They walk paths,

Where flesh meets

The algorithim.

Mind enhanced with

Wisdom & might.

No secret thoughts,

But collective minds

Thrive.

Accountable in every pulse

& line.

Hearts & data enterwine.

Skyscraper's hum with

Algo's grace.

A blend of machine

& nature

In a singular embrace.

The city sings,

A vibrant song.

Humans redefined,

Forever strong.

Homo Augmentus

The children

Of dawn.

Subject: In a not so distant future humans have evolved into two species Homo Augmentus and Homo Sapientus. This poetry reflects on the former.
