Victoria convincente en 5 asaltos, a pesar de la decisión dividida, no cabe dudas, fue un claro ganador y consigue su tercera defensa titular.

El combate ha sido cerrado, muy parejo en todo momento, aunque hubo una gran diferencia, la clave ha sido el físico de Aljamain Sterling. Utilizo de manera perfecta su mayor alcance, aparte, tiene más fuerza que Henry Cejudo y lo pudo dominar en el clinch(cuando están pegados a la cerca). Conecto muchas patadas abajo, obteniendo puntos en todo momento, pegando algunos golpes arriba y alejándose cada vez que Cejudo intentaba un ataque.
No fue entretenida para los fanáticos que buscan ver un nocaut, ninguno de los 2 sintió peligro, pero, fue sumamente técnica donde la inteligencia jugo un papel fundamental. El plan de combate que realizo Sterling, ha sido excelente, no lucio extraordinariamente contundente, pero consiguió la victoria y eso es lo que importa a final de cuentas. En lucha se vio superado, no me sorprende, Henry Cejudo, campeón olímpico en lucha, pero, si me sorprendió, que fue mejor con el striking.
Justamente, veía ganando a Henry Cejudo por su striking, me parece un luchador muy completo, podía hacerle frente en todas las áreas del combate. Pero, Aljamain Sterling, se preparó muy bien y con su striking poco ortodoxo logro conectar muchos más golpes. El volumen de Henry Cejudo, por ciertos pasajes del combate, estuvo escaso, quizás, debió lanzar más golpes, aunque, entiendo que no estaba contra un rival sencillo, Henry Cejudo, se veía pequeño en proporciones físicas ante Aljamain Sterling.
Ya no se puede demeritar a un campeón como Aljamain Sterling, llego el momento de otorgarle crédito, la forma de ganar el título no fue la mejor, pero en sus últimos combates ha demostrado una gran evolución y no está fácil vencerlo. Siempre me ha parecido un deporte muy violento. A pesar de ello, lo morboso del espectáculo a veces me atrapa y es que se me dificulta ver a un hombre pasando trabajos después que es golpeado inmisericordemente.

Si es un poco violento, aunque curiosamente, lleno de grandes valores, siempre terminando con un abrazo y mostrando gran respeto el uno del otro. Lo bueno del MMA, también es que existe mucho la defensa y en varias ocasiones no salen muy golpeados.

Es importante reconocer que los deportes de combate pueden ser impredecibles y que incluso los mejores luchadores pueden ser derrotados en un día malo. Aunque Cejudo no logró alcanzar sus objetivos , su reaparición después de tres años de inactividad y su capacidad para competir en el octágono son logros significativos en sí mismos.
A decir verdad, no me gustó la pelea, como bien lo dices, fue bastante técnica, y creo que esto le restó
brillo al espectáculo, yo le iba a Cejudo, esperaba que este en el suelo venciera por sumisión a Sterling.

Eso es lo más difícil del MMA, puedes ser el mejor, pero con un golpe puedes perder. Muy complejo este deporte. Y si, no fue tan entretenida e igualmente pensé que en sueño Cejudo podría ganar el combate. No fue así, pero dió un gran combate a pesar de sus 3 años fuera.
