to practice my tricks i went to a skatepark.
gear update: need new shoes.

but they keep humbling me

i tried to push it and get this handrail clip but my board was not new
my shoes were also garbage.
they were the same ones ive been skating since denver.
going on all those trips with one pair of shoes wears them out.
not from skating so much but from just walking in them.

some dude there let me wax a ledge with his wax and he said it was a special blend of wax his friend made. i asked him how he makes it and the clue he gave me was "motor oil"
so im not sure if he just means literally just motor oil or some special kind of oil.

then i asked chat gtp if oil and wax would mix and if it would make a good wax and it said yes, and it also suggested i add graphite powder to the wax. as an artist who is familiar with graphite (pencil lead) i thought that was very interesting and i am going to try to make some wax.
