Hello, Afri-tunes community, it’s your friend @wealthwess and it’s feels good to be here for this week concert. We are now in week 167 and since that already known, i made a cover of a song by one of africa’s best rapper and singer by the name Olamide and the title of the song is Melò Melò. In English Melò Melò simply means “How Many”.

One of the reasons i respect Olamide is because of his humble beginnings has he transformed from nothingness to everything he must have dreamt of. On other aspect i respect how he could easily switched from rap song to making a good vibes song that almost african’s will caught the euphoria and just kept vibing to these songs.

Olamide has proven himself to now be legend of the game because to his name he has won numerous awards and releases Albums upon Albums that got many african countries to appreciate his talent. Olamide delivered hits song upon hits songs that sometimes comes with his own dancing steps, songs like Bobo, Moti gbana, Wo etc all came with their own unique dance steps that got people vibing real hard.

I can never go without mentioning how humble Olamide he’s for promoting young talents from his record label YBNL, to mention few talents we have the likes Asake - that took the industry by storm. Fireboy DML - with his amazing vocals, Adekunle Gold - with his indigenous style of songs, Lil Kesh - came with hits songs just like olamide etc, have all benefitted through Olamide’s kindhearted and I’m sure they’ll never forget him.

Out of 100’s if not thousands of song Olamide has to his name, i chose to perform this song because it’s just refreshing to the soul, Melò Melò (How Many) is a love song that talks about the struggle of being poor and having a companion or partner that understands and stands by despite everything. It’s an emotional song coupled with melody and gratitude, hence that’s why i chose it as my entry for this week.
