Hello everyone, i am Wealthwess and it’s Hive open mic week 203 which i’m so excited about. This weeks theme is Memories as chosen by our recent spotlight artist @oluwadrey, hence i’ll be making a cover of a song by a Nigerian artists called Adekunle Gold he featured his now wife Simi on the track titled No Forget. This song talks about two lovers telling each other not to forget about how far they’ve gone in their relationship, meaning to always remember the memories they’ve shared together along the years. Why this was said is because the lyrics decipher that the Man was about leaving his hometown where both lover has spend many years of there lives together and going off to the city in search of greener pastures, that’s why both sides were worried that their love might get complicated due to the distance. That’s said, this is an acapella cover of the song but I do hope you’ll enjoy.

Hola a todos, soy Wealthwess y es la semana 203 de micrófono abierto de Hive, lo cual me entusiasma mucho. El tema de esta semana es Memories, elegido por nuestro reciente artista destacado @oluwadrey, por lo tanto, haré una versión de una canción de un artista nigeriano llamada Adekunle Gold. Presentó a su ahora esposa Simi en la canción titulada No Forget. Esta canción habla de dos amantes que se dicen mutuamente que no olviden lo lejos que han llegado en su relación, es decir, que siempre recuerden los recuerdos que han compartido juntos a lo largo de los años. La razón por la que se dijo esto es porque la letra descifra que el Hombre trataba de dejar su ciudad natal donde ambos amantes habían pasado muchos años de vida juntos e irse a la ciudad en busca de pastos más verdes, es por eso que ambas partes estaban preocupadas de que su amor pudiera complicarse por la distancia. Dicho esto, esta es una versión acapella de la canción, pero espero que la disfrutes.
