A woman who isn't successful is still seen as a woman.

A woman without education is still seen as a woman.

A woman without money is still seen as a woman.

But a man who is unsuccessful, uneducated, and broke?

Fair point, he's still a man. Just feels like society often judges men harsher on success or status, ya know? Like the expectations hit different.

Yes, I understand. I think this played out more in the past, times have changed and the females are equally saddled with responsibilities.

Totally get that. Times have shifted, and now both men and women are expected to pull their weight in similar ways. Still, those old stereotypes linger sometimes, don’t they

Well, I think it does. However, it's still dependent on the families involved. A family without a male child would shift it to the females.

Yeah, definitely depends on the family dynamics. Some still lean hard into traditional roles, while others flip the script based on who’s around to step up.
