Beautiful Wildlife Birds of Africa.

During my many Africa Safari Tours I found the birdlife fascinating and breathtaking I would say the most spectacular on Earth because of its vast lush wetlands to its tropical rainforests and coastal lagoons more then 2,500 species of birds seem to find their way to these amazing lands making Africa a true paradise for bird lovers.

The Birds of Africa play an important role not only in the African culture where the Africa tribal people regard them as a symbol of freedom and strength but ecologically these amazing birds are responsible for maintaining a perfect balance by spreading seeds and controlling insects across the continent's ecosystems.

The equipment used was all Nikon. Early shots with a D70, later shots with 2 x D3 bodies.
