Hello Worldmappin fam! πŸ’– It's me again @wanderelle! ☺️ I'm excited to share the next part of our wonderful family trip to Baguio – a place that always feels like a peaceful escape from the city rush. In Part 1, I told you all about settling into Albergo Hotel and exploring the areas right around us. This time, we were ready to really start our sightseeing, and our first big stop was super close to where we stayed, which was perfect for a relaxed morning.

One beautiful Baguio morning, after a refreshing night's sleep in the cool weather, we decided to visit The Mansion. We knew it was the closest tourist spot to our hotel, so it was a great way to start our day. It's really cool because it's known as the official summer residence of the President of the Philippines. You can definitely feel that it's an important and grand place, even from the outside! Just the thought of presidents having stayed there made it feel special.

The walk from Albergo Hotel to The Mansion was so refreshing. The morning air in Baguio is just the best – crisp, clean, and smells faintly of pine. It felt so good to be walking around together with my mom, sister, and cousins. We passed by some lovely pine trees along the way, and they just looked so majestic and spectacular with the gentle morning light filtering through their branches. Their scent filled the air, adding to that unique Baguio feeling.

And guess what? We even had a cute little surprise! We saw three furry friends – two black dogs and one that looked just like a husky – just chilling calmly as we walked by. They seemed so at home, and it really added a sweet, unexpected touch to our morning stroll.

When we finally got to The Mansion, the first thing that really strikes you is how peaceful and beautiful everything is. The landscape is simply amazing, and the green scenery all around felt so calming and incredibly spectacular. You could see that every part of the garden was well-kept, with manicured lawns stretching out. The atmosphere was so peaceful, almost like a quiet park, despite being a famous landmark. The main gate itself is really big and impressive, made of sturdy metal and looking very grand. It gives you a sense of the history and importance of the place.

We spent a good amount of time just soaking in that peaceful atmosphere. Of course, we took a lot of pictures there, with the grand building as our background. Right near the gate, there were also beautiful flowers everywhere, bursting with vibrant colors. They were arranged so nicely, making it such a picturesque spot. I made sure to take some lovely photos of my mom and sister there, as the flowers and the green backdrop made for the perfect shot.

We also gathered for a nice family photo at the beautiful view of The Mansion, a perfect memory of our visit together. The cool morning weather made it even more pleasant to just stand there, breathe it all in, and appreciate the view.

Our visit to The Mansion truly added to that wonderful feeling of relaxation we came to Baguio for. It was a perfect way to start our day of exploring, enjoying the city's beauty and its refreshing climate. Leaving all the city stress behind felt so easy here.
