I am a paid subscriber to OpenAi, but since last released, I don't know if it is worth it for me as I don't use that much recently.

I can imagine this will be the way most might feel in future. And the thing is there will be abundant AI that rival ChatGPT and they'll be free.

I think AI is very young, lots of concurrent projects are run-in and the landscape will be very different in a few years. Who knows we might even have AI runner by government where citizen of a country have free access as a public service.
