Drawing the bus that passed in a dream | Desenhando o ônibus que passou em um sonho [EN/PT]

The drawing I'm posting today is an attempt to recreate a bus that passed by twice in a dream I had a few days ago. I don't know about you, but it's never been easy for me to remember objects, scenes, and people we encounter in dreams. Only when they're very impactful, or turn into nightmares, does something stick in my memory.

When the dream seems to mean something important, I write down what I remember as soon as I wake up, and writing is also difficult. Now that I've started the Challenge: Drawing (almost) every day on iPad I'll try to draw, but I confess that a lot of it is invented, made up or imagined. I'm sure I saw a bus, but this one in the drawing has more elements of the buses I took when I was young. Maybe it's the one that went to the Utinga Station line and passed through Camilópolis neighbourhood, when I lived in Santo André city.

What struck me most was that the sign indicating the destination said "Moushiageru". I know it was a Japanese word, but I didn't know its meaning. Maybe I heard it in a video, movie or TV series, but I think it's unlikely. I then looked up about the word and found this page 申し上げる【もうしあげる】 (moushiageru) explaining it as "to speak, express, say, etc." with examples of condolences and congratulations, while Google Translate only showed "I apologize" as the answer.

I was even more intrigued and asked Grok IA from X for an interpretation, and it pointed out that "moushi ageru" is a very formal, polite expression used to reinforce submission and humility to the eventual interlocutor. It also mentioned that the sign can represent something that should be published and announced, and the bus represents a collective journey, involving other people. It's worth noting that in the dream, it passed twice, and I still let it pass, not even wanting to get on.

In any case, drawing something from a dream is really interesting, unlike the observational drawing I published previously. I might use this challenge of posting one piece of art a day to try to include these supposed images from the unconscious more often.

O desenho que publico hoje é uma tentativa de reproduzir um ônibus que passou, por 2 vezes, em um sonho que tive dias atrás. Não sei com vcs mas para mim nunca foi fácil lembrar de objetos, cenários e pessoas que encontramos nos sonhos. Somente quando são muito impactantes, ou viram pesadelos, fica alguma coisa na memória.

Quando o sonho parece significar algo importante, anoto o que lembro assim que acordo, e escrever também é difícil. Agora que comecei o Desafio: Desenhando (quase) todo dia no iPad vou tentar desenhar mas confesso que muita coisa é inventada, tenho certeza que vi um ônibus mas este do desenho tem mais elementos dos ônibus que pegava quando era jovem. Talvez seja a da linha Estação de Utinga que passava em Camilópolis, quando morava em Santo André/SP.

O que mais me impressionou foi que na placa indicando o destino estava escrito "Moushiageru" (lê-se môoshiagueru), sei que é uma palavra em japonês mas não sabia o significado. Talvez tenha ouvido em algum video, filme ou série, mas acho improvável. Procurei depois o que seria a palavra e encontrei esta página 申し上げる【もうしあげる】 (moushiageru) explicando como "falar, expressar, dizer, etc" com exemplos de condolências e felicitações, enquanto o Google Tradutor mostrou apenas "peço desculpas".

Fiquei mais intrigado ainda e pedi uma interpretação pra IA Grok, do X, e ela destacou que "moushi ageru" é uma expressão formal, polida, usada para reforçar submissão e humildade diante do eventual interlocutor. Tb mencionou que a placa pode representar algo que deve ser publicado e anunciado e o ônibus representa uma trajetória coletiva, envolvendo outras pessoas. Vale completar que no sonho ele passou 2 vezes e ainda deixei passar, nem quis subir.

De qq forma desenhar algo do sonho é um desafio muito interessante, diferente do desenho de observação que publiquei anteriormente, de repente uso este desafio de postar uma arte por dia para tentar incluir mais vezes estas supostas imagens do inconsciente.
